Keeping Entertained!

This week has seemed to go by so fast. Nolan didn't have school Monday, and then Wednesday he skipped and we went to Bear Lake to do a little snowmobiling with his family. We stayed the night there, and came home Thursday. It was so much fun, and I felt like I really pushed myself harder than usual to climb some mountains with the rest of em'!
Logan has been painfully cold, and so Thomas and I have been staying in more. He is talking so much, not that we understand him, but he will sit down in front of me and carry on a full 2 minute conversation. It's so funny.
His top two favorite activities to keep him entertained in the winter? Pulling out all the plastic sacs and playing in them for a good 15 minutes....
and taking off all the pillows on our couches, throwing them down the stairs, and then playing
with them. They're both quite funny to watch! While my most recent activity was just finishing the 10 book series by Dean Hughes of Children of the Promise, and Hearts of the Children. They were so good, and I am sad they are over, I would definitely recommend them.

As a social worker I feel my civic duty is to remind all parents out there that plastic grocery bags are not an approved form of entertainment for children under the age of two, or twelve for that matter. This has been a public service announcement.

You are such a good, patient mom! Kids can make such a mess so fast! Keep remembering that it makes them smart! I enjoy your blog! It was great to be with you at Bear Lake!

Sometimes if you tie the plastic bags to the foot of a kid they run real fast around the house like someone is chasing them. Wait, that might have been a cat.

Ashley! Hi darling! I don't have a blogspot or google ID, but I am trying to make contact and get people to see my space http://ritafryer.spaces.live.com/. I want to know how you get the song to play on your page. I love it! Teach me! Hope to hear from you soon. Rita

Looks like you're busy cleaning up after him all day! Raeann is funny. I love children of the promise books. But what is hearts of the children? The sequal? I'll have to look em' up. What can Thomas say? What was his first word?

I agree with Jessica; that RaeAnn is really funny.
