Our Little Boy finally arrives!
Your first trip to Boise, one week old.

3. Birthday? October 21, 2007
4. Time of birth? 5:49 pm
5. How long did labor last? 39 hours and 4 minutes, not that I was counting?
6. Who was in the room when baby was born? Just me and Nolan, the doctor, and about half of the nursing staff of Logan. I was the only one having a baby in the hospital and I had been there awhile.
7. How long did you push? 2 hours, they finally had to help with a vacuum. Why not help sooner? I don't know. But I started pushing right after BYU won their football game, Nolan was glad Thomas waited, I wasn't as much.
8. Weight? 7 pounds 3 ounces
9. Length? 20 inches
10. Any hair? A lot of dark hair in the back, and a little on top.
11. Who does baby look like? In the begining he was the spitting image of his dad, but more and more we hear he's a mix.
12. Be honest...how much weight did you gain while pregnant? 28 lbs. I'm really not quite sure, I didn't pay too close attention.
13. Was the baby early or late? Eleven days late, I was due the 10th according to ultrasounds, and Thomas decided to join us on the 21st.
15. How many baby showers did you have? I had 4, one with my family, one in Boise with my friends, one in Malta with Nolans family and friends, and then one here in Smithfield with my friends. I felt spoiled, that's for sure.
16. When did baby start sleeping through the night? Does that happen? No, at about 9 months he did good until he turned one, and we are working on it.
17. Did you breastfeed? Yes
18. Who takes care of your baby/kids the most? I do mostly, but Nolan hangs with him when he's home and there's no homework to be done.
19. When do you want to have another one? Well I guess that's the big news, September 15 th, since that's what the doctors say! We are really excited, but I can't believe it is happening again! Thomas and this one will be about 23 months apart.
20. How did you pick the name? Thomas is a family name on both sides, and it just fit so perfectly once he was born.
21. How did you know when it was time to go to the hospital? Well after 24 hours of contractions, we went in because I was exhausted, but labor wasn't progressing fast enough, and my doctor wasn't on call so they wouldn't induce, so they sent me home, and I went back after 7 long hours of pain, and they kept me there.
22. Anyone spend the night with you the first night home? Nolans mom, and Logan.
23. Did you cry the first time you held your baby? I balled when he was born, but I didn't hold him for awhile, and can't totally remember everything, I was so tired, but I'm pretty sure I did since I cried about everything for the next couple weeks:-)
24. Where was the baby born? Logan, Utah
25. Did you video tape the birth? No, that doesn't appeal to me.

Congratulations!!! That is so exciting that you are having another baby. Hope that you are feeling well:) As far as your last labor, I can't believe how long you went for! Hopefully this one will be better.

ASHLEY!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! I can't believe I didn't even have an idea! Ella and her little brother will be 23 months apart too, so we are so far on the same page. How are you feeling??? Tell me everything!!

Darn Thomas and his secret keeping! I am so happy for you guys. I am betting this baby will sleep through the next from the very start and surprise you with a whole different set of stressors! Love you guys.

Congratulations! I am really happy for you! It's great to know what is going on in your family and to see how fast Thomas is changing!
That was sneaky how you did that. I thought the whole post was going to be about Thomas and then bam! You spilled the beans! Who's your doctor? The same one? Guess what? We're finally flying to Logan June 26-July 6. Do you guys know what you're doing for the 4th of July? It's kinda early still, but I hope we can see you guys! Then we can see you when you're 7 months pregnant!

Oh I can't believe it! I am so excited for you! Wow that is so much fun! Sometimes I think I want another one right away and other times I want to wait. But it will be good for you plus Thomas will be such a cute big brother.

Congrats, I am SOOO excited for you! Thomas is so cute I can't believe how grown up he looks! Can you believe Brooklyn will be 1 in a couple weeks and Kenzie will be 4 in June. They grow up too fast!
