Our Last Spring BREAK!

This is a more like a journal entry so beware!!! Since this was our last official spring break as students we wanted to go somewhere. So we decided to visit family. We started the trip out by going to Nolans families house in Malta. For Christmas, he and some of his siblings had bought paint to do the garage floor with and now that the weather was warmer they decided it was a good time to do the work. We cleaned it out on Friday. There were a few dead mice, a bird, and a pack rat. It was pretty crazy what can be found in a garage.

We had fun riding in their new little RHINO vehicle, and Thomas couldn't get enough of it. We were planning on going to his little brothers play that night, but Thomas came down with a fever and then threw up, so I stayed home with him. His fever got up to about 104, and he was so out of it.
He even fell asleep when I was changing his clothes after a bath witch was so weird for me to see. But miraculously about 24 hours he was totally back to normal. Those 24-hour bugs are scary, but I'm so glad we waited it out, and didn't cancel the rest of our Spring Break plans or rush to the doctor. He was back to imitating everything I do. Even though Nolan doesn't love it, he always puts makeup on while I do. It's pretty cute and he's getting better:-) On Saturday we loaded up again and drove to Boise to stay the weekend with my sister, RaeAnn and Paul. We went to Macaroni Grill, which is Nolans and I, favorite restaurant that night and then went home and relaxed and played some games. Sunday was fun because after church RaeAnn and Paul made us some really good cheese and a chocolate fondue. It's always fun to do something different and so good for a meal. I also got to visit my friend Katie that day. She had a baby a few months ago and it was so fun to finally meet her, and see Katie being such a great mom! RaeAnn has been wanting to take me to her kick boxing class at the gym, mostly just to show me up I think, so Monday morning we went and did that for an hour and it was hard! But I was happy we did it.

We then went to Cabellas and saw the aquarium and other cool stuffed animals. I think Thomas really liked it.

After that we went to a cool shopping area downtown, walked around for a little bit, and went to this really cute/fun Candy Shoppe. Thomas wasn't too bad of grabber. Not yet anyway. Nolan and Paul felt the need for speed after that so we took them to a place where they could ride go-carts at about 40MPH. They had tons of fun, and Thomas couldn't take his eyes off the race carts. After they were done, the owner let Nolan drive Thomas around a couple times. No reaction whatsoever from him, but I think he liked it. We went out for Pizza after that then spent the night relaxing. Paul and Nolan played racquetball forever that night and got their workout for the day. The next day we drove back to Malta to paint the garage floor, but some cracks Nolan had filled weren't setting up, so instead we painted their main floor tan. It turned out nice. It used to be green. Tomorrow we are going home, and then planning on going to Park City later this week. Nolan is going to an interview for a company there, and we are pretty excited about. We will keep you posted on what happens. Overall it was a great week and we really appreciate our families to have so much fun with us and show us a great time.
Well the post is over. Congratulations if you made it through the whole thing!!

That's sad and exciting it's your last spring break. I'm glad you had fun w/ family and that was nice you painted for Nolan's family. Good luck Nolan in Park City! That would be a fun place to live. (i've never been there, but braydan loves it)

You beat me on getting a post on. For some reason the task seems larger than life; now I know it's because I took 100 pictures of Thomas. How did you and Nolan sneek in all of those?

Hey Ashley, I think the spy on the boat is Micheal. What do you think? I think the last oceanic 6 is Sawyer. I know it doesn't make sense cause he doesn't want to leave the island, but maybe him or Sun. i guess we'll see tonight!

Looks like a fun spring break -- ah man, spring break, I miss those! Can I just say, Nolan and his brother look just like each other. We miss you guys and wish you luck in Park City (although you know I'll secretly be wishing for something else...)
