Christmas In Boise

I know another post from me about our trip to Boise, you are so excited, we just can't get enough of this place. And we had such a great time I just couldn't not post about it. So we had a tough time trying to decide when to make our drive out here because the roads were pretty snowy/icy. But the day before Christmas Eve seemed to be the best so we packed up and left. It was not too bad of roads, but I don't enjoy the risk. We spent a lot of time hanging out we had to have the star a little straighter before Santa came!Christmas Eve we went out to dinner at a pretty fancy restaurant. After that we went to look at the lights on peoples houses. We saw lights that flashed with music, pretty fancy! There was one house that had every single Disney character you could think of cut out of wood, and painted so well. Thomas LOVED seeing them all. I think he was more excited for all of that then he was opening presents. We then went to RaeAnns house read the Christmas story, sang, and played games. And of course the tradition of opening one present, which was PAJAMAS!RaeAnn really made it fun with a lot of yummy appetizers and a turkey dinner. I think Grace really enjoyed her first Christmas. She loved looking at the lights, and she rolled over 3 times on Christmas Eve and Christmas, but we have yet to get her to do it again...Thomas loved getting his CARS from the movie CARS, and spent most all day playing in a box with them that my sisters boots came in. Hopefully you won't be needing to returns those boots Kim...All in all an awesome Christmas. We left for Malta the day after, but I will post more about that later. Both kids are asleep and I am off to take a shower and celebrate NEW YEARS EVE!

Why hasn't any commented on this awesome post yet? You are all jealous that Ash and fam hang out so often with the blodgettos, right?

Looks like a fun Christmas. I like the Disney cutouts. Question though--why didn't you just get a chair or ladder to fix the star? I guess it wouldn't have made for as good a photo op. Glad you could spend the holiday with your family, that always makes it special.

Loved seeing all of the fun pictures especially Thomas in the boots box -I just glanced at it earlier and didn't get a chance to read since Ian woke up unhappy doesn't he know I was busy blog watching. Anyway Boise looks like it was a lot of fun -I am glad that you guys made it there safely. Can't wait to see more pictures from Malta as well.

P.S. Congrats to Grace for rolling over I can't believe how big she is getting!

Looks like a great time. I'm glad that you are close enough to family to spend so much time there. Hopefully it can always be that way somehow. We sure miss being closer.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
