Valentines Week!

Love is in the air!
Hope you are all enjoying your week of LOVE. For my activity with my achievement day girls we heart attacked the Bishopric and brought them sugar cookies. It was a lot of fun, and now as a family we are going to go do the same thing to a few other couples in our ward. It has helped me enjoy Valentines more, usually I just let it pass without much thought to the holiday. I still need to think of something fun to do for Nolan.

We've been back for a little over a week and haven't been up to anything too exciting. WE took a couple trips to the park and had a few couples over for games and dinner, but it has been pretty laid back. I babysat these two twin boys this week. It's pretty crazy around this little apartment with four kids under the age of 2 and 1/2, but they have fun.

Well Grace is five months old. I am really enjoying this stage, I feel like she is no longer this fragile little newborn, but not a feisty 1 year old either, she is a little of both and I love it. She no longer stays under the activity mat for too long, but loves this excersaucer, and so do I. Her toes are her new best friend and even Thomas tried playing with them a little but didn't find the enjoyment. She is close to sitting up, but still leans too far forward. She rolls belly to back and back to belly a lot more now, and if you put her hands under her feet while she is on her belly, she will push off and try crawling. She still wakes up 3 times a night, but we are down to a pretty good nap schedule in the day.

Well since last post I mentioned some of Graces and Nolans favorite tricks, here is Thomas favorite. Swinging side to side upside down is his favorite. It actually makes him calm, and he loves it.
Monday we are off to Boise again for a week. We are quite the pros at this four and a half hour trek, what do you think? Nolan is getting LASIK there on Monday and taking work off the rest of the week to recover. I am so nervous for him, but lots of people do this right? Well keep you posted on the post op!

Enjoy all the LOVE! You are a brave woman to babysit all those little ones at once. :) Mitch wants to get lasik too. Good luck Nolan! how far away is Spokane from you? We are going to be up there this weekend for another interview.

Wow, you guys are the tripsters. Your kids are going to be so used to the car. I'm excited for Nolan to get lasik. Darin and I are both jealous. I hope it goes well. Happy Valentines day!

Your kids are so cute! I can't believe that Grace is already 5 months! I wonder if the time with our new baby will go fast too. Good Luck to Nolan, he'll do great...my mom got it done when we were in high school and she went to Canada (and no problems), so I think he'll be good to go getting it done here in the good 'ol USA!

I'm a little jealous! I'd love to get that done. Hope all goes well. I also wish we got to go to Boise as often as you do...maybe someday, but probably not. Which do you like better: exersaucer or jumperoo??

You got a Megan comment--you know how we cherish those. Can't wait to see you!

Twins? Yikes. Can't believe Grace is so big! Lasik can be a difficult recovery, but so worth it! (hey, kinda like having kids?) Good luck!

I forgot Nolan was getting lasik. That is exciting. I hope it goes well. Grace is getting so big. I haven't even thought of the exersaucer yet. I'm not sure Taylor is strong enough for it yet. I guess I should just try that sounds nice. I love the picture of her holding her toes. Taylor is starting to do that more now. I think it's so cute when they do that. It was good talking to you yesterday. I can't wait to see you. Have a good week in Boise. love ya

Fun ideas for Valentines. YOu are impressive for taking two more little ones in to babysit...I don't think I'd do it. :) (unless of course they were yours...haha!)

Good luck to Nolan. I want lasik so bad, but makes Bryan worry. We'll have to hear your report.

I've had two close friends do the LASIK, and they both swear by it, so I'm sure he'll be fine. Let us know how it goes.
