I'm BAAAAAAACK!!! Not in the creepy way though!

Shoshone Falls a couple weeks ago, impressive!

My sweet cousin Jessica called me today making sure I was alive and functioning because I haven't posted in a few weeks. Sure made me feel good, but bad that I have been a slacker for a while. I feel a lot of pressure to make this post so awesome since it's been so long but don't get too excited it's pretty basic.

Anway I hope I kept some readers...

If you haven't been keeping track we have only been home for 6 days since April 10th!! We got home last night and blogging has been on my to do list. Along with sorting 3 months of mail, bills, grocery shopping, etc. It's been a crazy 3 months and I have so many pictures and stories to share that it's tough to know where to start. So I'll start with our favorite thing to do so far this summer, boating. Hence the first couple of songs on the blog. They get you pumped to jump into freezing cold water!RaeAnn and Paul have taken us out a couple times, and I was wimpy and whiny from the cold and my lack of skills but we still had fun. Then this last week we went 5 or 6 times on Nolans parents boat. I finally crossed the wake and surfed a few different times. Wahoo!!! One day the wake board was broken and there weren't enough people to make surfing fun so I gave knee boarding a shot. Oh man, is that the most funny thing or what? I felt like an amputee and got such an ab workout from laughing that I had to give the driver the "I've had enough" signal. I think I just don't really get what you do when you are out there. I got to spend some time in my favorite spot on the front of the boat just soaking in the rays. Nolan did everything I did a few more times and really showed up my "skills" He also slalomed a couple times and really improved. Thomas gave kneeboarding a try but I don't have the picture. (Holly if you'd be so kind to email me it that'd be great:-) ) I will be back with more but this is a little preview of what is coming next....

Harper Family Reunion! Are you tingling with anticipation?

I have been wondering what you have been up too. You are so brave to ski and try knee boarding, I've only ever got up the nerve to go on a tube once and I made Chad drive the boat and go way slow, then I made them stop before I fell off. I'm a chicken!! Can't wait to see more of what you've been too.

I'm glad you guys are back home. I can't believe it had been so long....I love coming back home after a trip. I am so happy you gained some mad skills on the wakeboard. You are awesome. I have both my kids asleep right now. Matthew has a fever and fell asleep in the car at 9 this morning and fell asleep when we got back from the doctor. Poor kid. I hope you are doing well. I wished I could have stayed another week with you guys.

I am not sure how you handle all that traveling!?! The last few weeks definitely look like tons of fun I bet Thomas loved boating and Gracie probably got in some good naps. That is all Ian did when we took him last summer however he was only a couple months old. Sounds like fun can't wait to see more!

Water skiing is so much harder than it looks. I remember barely even getting up at all. It looks like you got the skills though.

I am so jealous that you have got to go boating so much. I am nice and round and prego this summer, so boating isn't so hot. Enjoy it for me!

You look like a pro on the wake board. Gracie looks so cute in her little life jacket. And Shoshone Falls looks pretty amazing. I would be lying if I said the blog book thing wasn't a lot of work but it will be worth it when it is done (I am on Dec. yay!). The program isn't the most user friendly - pretty slow and you do have to change the format for pretty much every page, but with the new version you can custom make pages, which is good. So it does take a while, but I just figure it is family history right?

Shoshone falls?!? That looks familiar :) Boating is definitely my summer fav as well. Hopefully I'll run into you again in Boise it is always fun seeing you. Jake definitely liked playing with Grace or at least Grace's toys not sure which.
