Love Week Day 3

Family where would I be without them...

I feel very blessed to have 2 AMAZING families to belong to. I know you know I have 2 sisters, (which I am very excited about because they're both visiting me this week of looooooooove!) but I'm not sure if you all know but I come from a family of 7 children: 4 boys, 3 girls.I love my family. We are each so different, and all have a great time together. I really feel like everyone is so funny, and while sarcasm may get us in trouble with each other, it makes things very interesting. We share a love for outdoor activities, games, and movies. I feel especially close with them on a different level since we all share in the feelings of losing our mom. That event has shaped our family in so many different ways. It's a sadness I feel each time we are all together, but she has been a continuing influence in my life and I am grateful for that.

And then there is my Harper family, (Picture missing Jonathan, Ryan, and Grace). Also a big family, 6 siblings: 3 girls, 3 boys. I am not sure everyone feels as close to their in-laws as I do. I roomed with one sibling in college, we lived across the street from one when we were first married, and another one lived with us for a few months in Logan. I think Nolan and I were raised very similarly, and so our families enjoy the same things. They're very active, and live by the motto, "A family that plays together, stays together." I have definitely improved my boating, and snowmobiling skills.

I could truly do great posts of all 19 of my brothers and sisters, and my parents. Being in such big families is so fun. I know how much I love having so many aunts and uncles, and cousins and I'm so happy that my kids will have that in their lives as well. I wish I could go into detail about that, and all my extended family, but I will just stop by saying how lucky I am, and thanks for all the love and support family, aunts, uncles and cousins!!

Great post! BIG families are great! I always wished mine was a bit bigger when I was a kid. But we always had you guys to fall back on. It was always a blast having so many people to play Disney Dark, man those days were fun!
