These Two...

I was always a little worried what their relationship would be like since my brother who is just older than me fought a lot. And from the first day that we brought Grace home, Thomas really did not pay any attention to Grace. He would only acknowledge her if we asked him to. Once she started crawling/walking their only interactions were cries of help if Grace messed up something of Thomas, or Thomas took something from Grace, and I would sadly think, "Here begins their relationship."
But these two have really become good friends over the last month. Of course they're not happy with each other 100% of the time, but they ask for each other and play really well together. The cutest thing Thomas does is with each new toy he brings her one to play with and says, "Come on Nace." Whether she wants to or not he brings toys after toy to her so she'll play with him. It's really cute, and soon I think Grace will appreciate his efforts. He also is the first to greet her after naps and bedtime. It's nice because he goes in there right when she wakes up and keeps her occupied for quite a while and I can get some things finished up.

The problem now is what I call the 3 B's.

these are the three messes that these two constantly do, we clean, they mess, we clean, you get the picture. One kids I could keep up with but two is hard to follow. Even though it is tedious I would definitely take the constant pick up over breaking up fights. Hopefully they'll just continue to grow closer.

Funny! I love that first pic of Grace! Glad they like to make a mess together...messes just aren't as fun to make alone! You're kids are so dang cute!

I was nervous about this post when I saw the title of "these two..." and a picture of Grace bawling with Thomas chillin' on the couch...haha. Those two are so cute!! I really like the crib picture (even though I'm sorry the bears create a mess). Maybe I should teach your kids the value of books the next time I see them...haha

I love that they are playing well together! That is so fun! I know it can create quite the mess though. Heidi and Tyler can really do a number on the whole house! I say just pick it up before bed, or maybe just before dinner. The kids will get good at helping you pick up too. Before you know it your house will look like mine!! JK, You are a way better housekeeper!

I bet they will have a sweet relationship. I wonder the same thing with my two! And I totally understand the mess, clean, mess, clean. That's the story of my life.

Picking up is definately most of my life! I am glad they are beginning to be good friends. Ella and Cavin love playing together now and it is so fun. We need to chat soon and catch up on what's going on!

I feel the same way about my kids' relationships. They fight, sure, but they play more than that. I love that they entertain each other, even if it is at the expense of a big mess.
