I feel kind of lame that I missed my seventh day for love week, especially since it was Valentine's Day! But here I am posting a week later so hopefully that will suffice. Our last day in Spokane was a lot of fun. The kids and I woke up and headed straight for the children's museum downtown. We could walk over a couple bridges and get there in about 15 minutes. It was such a pretty walk and Pretty warm outside. Unfortunately we were so quick to get there nothing had opened so we had about an hour to kill. The kids and I decided to have breakfast at this really yummy bakery called Madeleines. I wonder what all the buisness people eating breakfast and going to work thought of me walking in with 3 kids. Quite the sight I'm sure. I felt very out of place!
We got a cinnamon roll that was plenty big for all of us to enjoy. After we finished that we still had about 40 minutes to bur, so we went to the mall across the street and rode the four stories of escalators up and down. The kids are in heaven when we do that. I feel pretty small town when I see my kids light up over something like an escalator or elevator. After a few bathroom breaks The childnrens museum was officially open.
It was fun, Thomas spent most of his time at this water table and on this road course with plasma cars.
Grace loved dressing up in all sorts of things and sliding down a Playhouse.
They even had a pretty good play area for babies, and it was fenced off for kids 3 and under only. That was nice.
I knew we had no other place to be that day, and it cost $20 to get in, so we seriously spend about three hours there. Emma took a nap, and I read a book and kept an Eye on the two of them. I'm sure the workers were like, isn't this lady ever going to leave? It was fun and a good way to spend their morning. The kids were definitely done with the hotel room. After that we rode another escalator to get some Chinese.
And we walked back to our hotel. Once we got back to the hotel we put Emma down for nap #2 and the kids and I went swimming. By the time we were done with swimming it was almost dinnertime. We got packed up and drove to see My cousins Mitch and Megan that live there.
I loved hanging out with them for the night and was so happy to also see my aunt me and uncle Boyd. A tippets/Blodgett reunion is definitely in order! It Was a full day but so fun. I kept thinking how neat it was to be me and my three kids out on the town all day! Quite the mommy and kids day! The next morning we packed up and drove to Walla Walla, more on that later.

Seriously adventurous. I'm not sure I would have ventured...I will have to get tips from you.
Emma looks so cute!! Her little ponytail is adorable. Why can't we be next door neighbors; we would have so much fun. Fun trip you guys had!
That looks like you had a fun time. And way to be brave and let your kids use the escalators again! I love children's museums! And I'm sure you didn't out stay your welcome. Now that day would have worn me out!
i like to picture you with your three kids amidst all of the 8:00 am suits. Oh, and I will tell you what I think when I see a family killing tons of time at a public place...poor guys, must be homeless!
Wow, I'm impressed! And hopeful that maybe one day I will be with-it enough to take 3 kids out on the town... please tell me there was at least one melt-down, right?? Or maybe don't tell me if they were all little angels, I might get discouraged :) Really though, you are an AWESOME mom!!
You r a brave momma to take 3 kids all over town! Sounds fun though : )
My kids love escalators, too! And I agree with the previous comment--brave mama! I am not a fan of just going to the store with all 3, so you're superwoman.
Looks like so much fun! I am impressed you took them all out too, but sometimes that's just what you have to do! Great job!
Sure cute kids and looks fun at that play place.
Come back! We have to talk about more TV shows! ;)
