Harper Reunion 2014

I wish I had more pictures for this post, but I figured I better just blog about it before it's too late. At the end of May we had a Harper Reunion. Nolans sister Jill came to town, and it was the perfect time for us to all get together. It started the day school got out so we were ready to party!
Can you spy Emma making her growling face???
We were so glad the Lau's were able to join us. I've only seen Marty a few times, and they had never met James. These two were the best of buds. It was so sweet, and a good sign because Jill is going to have her baby boy in just a month!

Here are Taylor and Grace, just 2 weeks apart. It's not a Harper Reunion without a day on the river at Gary and Susys. Nothing beats it!
The water was still a little chilly for my liking, but we tubed plenty, kayaked, and rode the jet skis.
We played some fun Jimmy Fallon games that night, that included making funny faces, and slamming eggs on your head.
The  next day we took a bunch of kayaks a few miles up stream and go it a floated down back to the house, AHHH so relaxing. Susy set up quite the African experience that night that she wanted to rein-act from her trip a few month prior. We went on a safari walk and shot (stuffed) animals with our (marshmallow) blow guns. The kids loved it. When we got back she'd transformed her house with African music and food. We got our faces painted, wore some African clothing, and feasted. Then we went out to the yard for a drum circle and stick dancing. It was quite the night. She always does something so fun and creative.
We had a great time and the following week spent almost every minute we could with everyone still while Jill was still in town. It was a perfect way to welcome summer!
