Summer baseball

Right after school got out this year the kids started baseball for the whole month of June. 

Thomas played first basemen really well.  He got a couple really good outs.  It was fun watching him.

Being up to bat was a lot different for him.  They used a machine to pitch and it was just very inconsistent and much faster than coach pitch.  By his fourth and final game he was getting the hang of it.  I wish they had them play more games.

This year both Grace and Thomas decided to participate. Grace was on a coach pitch team and she did really well.

 She told me she liked baseball games more than practices because you can talk while you wait to bat.

They both had good experiences and want to do it next year, so that is always a great sign!
