HAPPY EASTER!

Easter this year was a lot of fun. We started our activities on Saturday with a good ol' community Easter egg hunt. Actually it was more of a grab all the candy you can hold hunt, but the kids did well. Here is Thomas with his neghborhood buddies, they'll all be in a grade abovie him, but he keeps up pretty well with the older crowd. After that we went to a real easter egg hunt with some more friends. I think there were over 200 eggs filled with candy hidden around, and it was a lot of fun. Thomas found 10 by himself and put them in the basket. I was so proud. The rest of the day wasn't as eventful. We got our carpets cleaned, and hung out around town while our furniture filled our kitchen.
Sunday we decided it would be fun to have an easter dinner with some of our friends that weren't going home for Easter. I made my first ham, and it was a really good meal. There was 8 of us there, and it was fun to chat and relax together. Thomas was in heaven with 3 other kids around. Hope everyone had a good Easter too!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, I took a ton, but realized I hadn't put the card in our camera so I had to steal this picture off someone elses blog. Don't worry, I won't be making that mistake again:-)

Hey Ashley, Happy Easter! I'm sad about your camera, but I've done it before too. So annoying! Glad you have some good friends to spend easter with so you don't miss family much. I'm mad about LOST too! Do think Ben is the bad guy or Charles? Or both? Do you think it was really charles that staged the plane under water or was it Ben? I keep changing my mind, but then Ben just killed two innocent people!!! Anyways, hope you guys are doing good. Love you!

sounds like you had a great easter!! I made my first ham too... kind of intimidating, huh? I was surprised though, it wasn't too hard. That is so fun that you guys can do easter egg hunts. I can't wait till Adeline can do that!

I think you and Jessica need to take the plunge and call each other after Lost to discuss what happened, theories, the other, etc. I scanned through her comment and didn't see the "LOST" part and was wondering why you guys know someone that killed two innocent people--I was pretty sure it wasn't our brother Ben, but you understand my confusion. Glad you had a hoppy easter.

Sounds like fun! Boy it makes us miss you guys and good old Smithfield. I can't believe how big everyone's "babies" are. They grew fast!

Here's the thing...whatever happened to REAL egg hunts. The kind where you hide the eggs inside and outside of the house, the kind where 7 months later you walk downstairs and wonder what that smell is, you ignore it and by month 9, you have to find it. As you reach into a fake flower plant on the windowsill and pull out an egg so old that it crushes into liquid as soon as you hold it, you realize, yes, this is why we have real Easter Egg hunts...Anyway, I made my friends do one with me this year...they hid, I found (most of them...it's what makes it exciting). Happy Easter.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
