My New Favorite Things...

This month a couple things have really changed the way I do things in my life and I am loving the change. The first... Okay well I saw these featured on the VIEW a few weeks ago, and though, oh just an advertising plug, then a couple of my friends have talked about them, so I thought, "heck, with all this deep cleaning we're doing to get our house ready to sell why not?" They are so incredible. On the inside of my oven, I have had spots all over the glass that I couldn't get off with anything, and in a few short minutes these babies took it off. Nolan worked on a project yesterday and got permanent ink all over our kitchen table. He felt so bad and tried vinegar, and things to get it off, but BAM, these did the trick. They get crayon, scuffs, and stuff off glass. I also like it because I just cut off the top of one, wet it, use it, then throw it away so the rest stays nice. We've used them for about a week and only gone through one stick. You'll love your life, so DO IT, buy them.

And the second.....

2 other friends and I started a meal co-op last month. We each have a day of the week where we cook dinner for all of us. Then we bring it by and you cook it. It is so nice because we usually have plenty of leftovers for another meal or lunch. I love having lunches off to think of what to make, and especially two dinners delivered to my door. The variety of recipes is nice too, and so far we all enjoy it, and the husbands LOVE it. I'd recommend this for sure.

Can I sign up for your dinner co-op? I wouldn't be able to contribute anything, but would sure love to hear my doorbell ring and BAM there's a homemade dinner.
So, I tried those erasers and didn't love them, and now I am thinking maybe you have to use them wet. Hello, read instructions much? Plus Mr. Clean is so darn handsome.

That dinner co-op sounds so fun! I would do it, but I think the meal I make would be the worst one and I'd get phased out of the co-op after a week or two. Good idea though!

Ashley...I also love the magic eraser. It is the only thing I've found to take marks out of the sink (you know the kind that come from pans...I guess not in your sink since it is stainless steel). Anyway, they are great.

I wish I had friends here to do the dinner co-op with, that would be awesome!!!

Thanks for sharing. The eraser thing might be a good idea for anyone with kids! Glad you can have some nights off from cooking. Maybe I'll suggest it to my neighbor friends. I'm just afraid that I'm not as good of cook as them.

I'm a huge fan of the magic eraser as well, but I do have a warning for you, especially with Thomas. Just don't let him touch them. I saw a picture of a little one that was 'burned' by one becuase of the chemicals in it. He had rubbed it on his arm while helping his Mom. Otherwise they work great for cleaning.

We did that the whole time we lived in Provo. Isn't it the best!? I seriously need to start one here.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
