Today we went into the doctor for the big ultrasound appointment. I was so determined not to find out what we were having. Once we got in there and he started taking these shots of the face, it was so hard not to know, and then he was getting pictures of the spine, and I was planning on not looking, but was too interested to look away. Once I didn't see anything to suggest boy, I just told him to tell me, and I was right to think it's A
GIRL!! I have been feeling this way for a lot time, only because I was so sick in the beginning, haven't experienced leg cramps, my face keeps breaking out, and their heart beats at appointments were much different. We feel so lucky to have one of each, and for this little
girl to be healthy and on schedule with development. It is crazy to change our frame of mind now to a girl though. Even at the appointment, we kept referring to the baby as a he or boy, and the ultrasound tech was like, "Not he,
SHE!" It will take some getting use to and it is time to do some shopping I suppose!

Here
she is, I love
her mouth and nose so much, you can see the umbilical cord on the left.

All five fingers were present on both hands,
she loved having them right by her face. So Sweet!
I think
she and Thomas are very similar in looks, but what do you think?? The only difference I see is Thomas' nose kind of scoops up, and our little
girls just is straight,
she also looks to have a bigger bottom lip. Anyways, fun to look at. Here are 2 of Thomas at 20 weeks.

How EXCITING!! One of each. How fun. And what fun pics--3D! I don't blame you for wanting to find out. There's no way I could have gone in and not asked. Her little face shape is so cute. You are going to have so much fun getting ready for a little girl! And Thomas will be such a good big brother. YEAH!! Congrats! And you look FABULOUS!!!
Congrats! That is so exciting one of each. The pictures they took look great our little boy would not stop moving and his hands were always in his face. The picture of you looks beautiful too -I love your hair! Congrats again!
Wowzer and Yoohoo!I think she is cute too, but her coloring is a little off :). You look soo cute that I had to show you off to all of my co-workers! Congratulations. Love you guys. We will have to have Ruth E. start picking out her Disney Princess name!
Wow Ashley you look good! I loved my 3-d pics, Jason thought they looked weird but I guess only a Mom can look at a little skeleton profile and fall in love, and think it's the most beautiful baby ever.So yeah I see your little girl's 1st pic and think she is so cute :0) She's perfect. Again with my cheesy-ness, she is a little miracle only for you and Nolan that nobody else could have made. What a blessing and what a lucky girl! I'm happy for both of you and so excited for Thomas. Having one of each is so much fun. HARD, but fun.
Love ya and take care.
Yea for girls! I told you you'd be able to tell if it wasn't a boy. After having that thing stare you in the face for so long, you definately know when it's missing! She does look alot like Thomas. She will be darling and I'm sure not wierd looking. Remember- you're the one that hinks baby girls are ugly! Now I'll wonder if you are lying to me when you'll tell me Hallie's cute... Just kidding. Lets make you some bows! Congrats! BTW- Jacki is totally prego- she's having another boy, due in Sept. also!
Congrats! How fun to have one of each! Any names picked out yet? I wouldn't be able to be surprised either, so don't feel bad. You can barely tell you are pregnant! I am really happy for you guys!
Congrats! I am so excited you are having a girl! Girls are SOOO much fun! You look great, and she's adorable. I can't wait to meet her. You're already half way there. YAY!

You don't look pregnant, you look like you ate too much for dinner! You tiny thing! I am so excited!! Girls are fun!! I know you kinda wanted two boys in a row, but now if you have a 3rd you really won't care what it is! We need to chat! My sister leaves tomorrow and then I don't have any more company, so we can play!! Congrats and start thinking of some girl names. I liked the ones you mentioned!
YEA!!! I am so excited you guys are having a girl. I love those 3D pictures. SHE and Thomas look pretty similar to me but it is kind of hard to tell from those pictures. haha It is amazing though to see a baby look like a real person that early on. I was so excited when you told me you found out. It made my day!! love you guys

So cute! I am glad you found out, because I thought all along that it was a girl! and it would have killed me not to know, so as you can tell I will never have a surprise! You look so good. I am so excited for you. I think they look alot alike, those ultrasounds are awesome. I only had one like that at 9 weeks so you couldn't tell any difference.
