For those of you who know me, and that should be most of you reading this blog. I am not the most spontaneous person. I think I use to be but have become more boring as I have gotten married and had kids. Usually when someone has an idea to do something out of the ordinary, I am all for it, and then I sit and weigh the negatives and usually decide to opt out.
However, last night we were very spontaneous! We booked two tickets to Florida, and if that isn't spontaneous enough, we leave this Tuesday! Living in Smithfield we have made some really great friends, and one of those moved to Florida. We've been telling them we'd go visit and then backing out for a year and a half, but now there's no going back even though I am scared to death of flying for 9 hours with Thomas, and worried we'll have a lot to do when we get home so we can move in a week or two. But I am going to have to push that out of my mind, we've booked the tickets and are so excited. We figured this is our last chance in a while to have a fun random vacation. Nolan starts work in Walla Walla (yes we made a decision) June 23, and then we'll have another addition to our family in September, so this was perfect timing.
So no Midweek Meal this Wendensday, and I will see you when we get home!

Look at you! Good decision to seize the moment and take a vacation. You're not going to regret it. And congratulations on the job--I looked it up and walla walla looks BEAUTIFUL! You're going to love it there!

WAHOOOO!!! We are SO SUPER EXCITED for the Harpers to visit us in Florida. Tonight we went swimming at our pool and I was thinking this will be so fun next week with Nolan and Ashley (not that we have to dod that) and then we were thinking it will be fun to stay up late and play Settlers (not that we have to do that either)....we'll do whatever (I think I once sent you a list of all the great things to do aroudn here)! Let us know what you're thinking so we can kind of plan -- man we are so happy you decided to be spontaneous. It feels like we're about to have a vacation too.

That will be so fun for you guys! Florida is so nice, and you're going right before it gets too hot and humid. Good timing!! And Walla Walla is really nice. I've been there once. :) Have a great time!!
WAHOO! I am so excited you guys got a job! I was rooting for Walla Walla, so it will be easier for us to visit! What some fun major changes and a vacation too! You won't be sorry you decided to do a vacation. After 2 it's lots harder, and more expensive! Do you know where you will live in Walla Walla? Let us know when you are moving, possibly we could come and help. I don't know how helpful I would be with the herd we have, but it's a possibility :) maybe we could just tend Thomas. Have so much fun in Florida!!
YAY for Florida and YAY for WW, W. If you run out of ways to entertain T. on the plane, just listen to the people around you whispering and grumbling about your loud son. Maybe they will have some helpful suggestions that you never thought of...
Wow! Have so much fun on your trip! I can't say flying is very fun w/ a toddler, but at least you'll have Nolan with you to help. Horray for WW!! I hope RaeAnn and Paul move to Seattle so you'll come up here a lot! Cross my fingers!

So your life seems soo exciting right now!!!! I totally hear you about not being spontaneous anymore. . . It's easy to slide into boring mama mode, so that rules that you broke out! Just remember to take care of yourself on the plane and just let Thomas sit with random old people that look like good grandparents. :) HAVE FUN! AND congrats on a big move and real job!
FLORIDA!!! You are so lucky! Hope you have tons of fun. When you get back if you need any help let me know, I only work til noon and would love to help with anything, not to mention see you before you take off to Walla Walla!

Yeah!!!!!!! I'm so glad that Nolan got the job in Walla Walla. That IS fun to say! Wow! I can't believe you left for Florida yesterday! That's crazy to think you're down there right now. I should be reading these blogs more often. I hope you have an awesome trip!
