The Lowdown! I mean way LOW...

School is officially over! (well unless Nolan decides to get his Masters.) He is still on the hunt for jobs, and is traveling to Denver next week for a few interviews. I counted yesterday and he has applied to 75 different companies. You can't say he isn't trying, it's a hard time to get hired right now. While we are waiting he is working for a guy in our ward mowing lawns, and hopefully we'll get our townhome sold. Last weekend we attended a dinner for Nolans honors program. It was a lot of fun, and neat to see what accomplishment his honors program was. Not to mention I love getting out to eat at a fancy restaraunt once in a while! The beginning of this week was so nice we spent all day Monday and Tuesday outside on our park, and then the storm came....it has been gloomy, windy, rainy, and snowing since. We are hoping this is the last one until December. Today Nolan was home all day with us since he couldn't mow lawns and we spent most the morning cleaning, while Thomas watched a little Monsters INC. During our mad clean of the house, I found my blessing dress that my mom made for me as a baby. I am excited to use it, it's special to have something for this baby from my mom. I also wanted to show off the cute bumpers that I found a while ago. We're getting pretty excited for a girl, Nolan laughs at me how much I want to do so early. We aren't talking names to much, I like Clara, Nicole, Kennedy, and a few others, but Nolan is waiting for the hospital to sit down and really talk about it. We'll see!

Now I know what you're thinking... "What?!? A lowdown on the Harpers and no pictures of Mr. T?" Don't worry, I got it covered...Phew!

Congrats, Nolan!!! Only two more years, and we'll finally be done.

That's awesome that you found your dress. I'm so excited for you to have a girl. I hope our next one is a girl, so they all match up!

CONGRATULATIONS, Nolan!! I bet that feels so good for ya'll. And how awesome that you have your blessing dress from your mom. I think that's soooo special!! I bet you're having fun getting ready for a girl--there's so much more out there for girls. Oh, and once again, I love your hair!

Congrats- I bet it feels so good for him (and for you) that he is done with school. I can't believe that he has applied to so many places, I am even more impressed. I don't think I could get tim to be that motivated.

I love the blessing dress. That is neat that she will be able to wear yours. I still want to put our soon to come little boy in my blessing dress but I am positive that Tim wouldn't go for the idea- and lets admit it would be weird. Love the bumper too the colors are cute. Look at you go- you're going to have everything all ready and set up in just a week.

Too tired to think of anything funny. Guess the gift only comes before midnight. Love your hair, love the dress, love CLARA, love no more tuition, love my nephew, all in all a good post.

YEAH FOR NOLAN!!! That is the best feeling, huh? Now just finding job -- it will come, I'm sure of it. You may as well enjoy the time now, because once he starts it never stops (until you get old) and in hindsight this time will seem so short. Just my unsolicited two cents.

Anyway, I love the name Clara. It is so pretty. Also, I love your blessing dress. I can't believe how white it still is. How special to have something of your mom's for her!

By the way, the Big Kahuna Burritos were awesome! Thanks for the recipe.

Hallelujah about school being out! You did it Nolan! I can't believe you've applied to 75 places! Braydan did a lot too. I love that little dress Aunt Gail made. I think it will be an emotional blessing (like Thomas's was) I felt the spirit really strong at his. Anywho, hope the weather gets better there so you can get that cute boy outside! love ya.

Congratulations! I'm jealous that you guys are done with school (what would that be like?) but happy for you too. :) My sister named her little girl Clara Rose, so I'm a fan of that one. Your posts are great!

WOOHOO!! Having a girl is awesome. Thomas can completely make fun of her and tease her for the first couple of years, but she'll overcome it and be tough and then beat him up when they're older, but Thomas will totally want to date her friends. It couldn't get better! Ash, the dress is so beautiful and not to mention awesome beyond words that your mom made it. Oh man, very cool.

Hooray Nolan! If you guys move to Denver, you'll only be 4 hours from us. Sounds far right? It's actually our closest airport, temple, big city, etc. so it really doesn't seem that far to us. Good luck with all the interviews.
