The End of A Great Chapter In Our Lives

This last weekend was really busy, but a lot of fun. Nolan graduated on Saturday and we did all the formalities. It's weird to think we no longer are considered college students. Now bring on the real world:-) Nolans dad was with us the whole day to celebrate. In the morning we went to the traditional walk around campus. It was a really nice day, and Nolan took Thomas around with him which he loved. Afterwards we went to a park, and shopped a little in Logan. Then we went to his class for a lunch with all 24 of his classmates that were graduating and their families. It was yummy, and nice to meet all these people he had spent late nights with finishing projects. (They really do exist)
We were worn out already by this time of the day, so we all went home and had a snooze. At 3 we went to the ceremony. The college he graduated in was the largest at USU, even though they had a lot of names to call it was still exciting. Nolans grandparents, and 2 of his siblings came with their families. There were about 17 of us cheering him on!
Once it ended we had a big fried chicken dinner in the pavillion behind our house. I missed out on taking pictures, but it was fun to get together.I think Green Day said it best when they sang, "I hope you had the time of your lives." I am so proud of Nolan. He graduated with Honors, and always went above the expected criteria for his assignments. I love you baby, Good JOB. Go Aggies!

Go Aggies! I'm glad Nolan walked and did the whole ceremony thing. We didn't do anything and I regret it now. I felt like we were too busy at the time, but it would've made it more final. All well. Now I can see pictures of what it would've been like! I wanted to see one of your little belly, but you cut it off :( Still cute pict. Good job nolan.

Way to go Nolan! It really is a huge chapter to close. My graduation isn't changing much for Brent and I, but when he graduates it will be a very different story. I'm excited to see where you guys end up. :) Miss you! ps: this is the first grandbaby for my family...but they're all so young, so it'll be interesting to see how they react. But my parents are so excited!

Now Nolan, I don't want you to be acting all high and mighty since you graduated, even if you were the smartest in your class (Yes, I looked up your GPA and compared it to every single one of your classmates). Anyway, if you a yearbook I would be the first one to 'sign your crack', but because you don't I'll just say 'Carpe Diem' and laugh at myself because that's retarded. For rizeal though...CONGRADULATIONS...woot woot.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
