Getting to know our surroundings

This weekend we decided to get some Walla Walla history under our belts and we went on this 2 mile walk downtown that is all mapped out for you and takes you around the oldest buildings in Walla Walla. It was pretty cool to see some of the mansions, reading about their history, and the cool architectural details in the houses made us want to buy an old house one day. Here are a few of our favorites.

We also went on this fun 4 mile bike ride that goes along Mill Creek. At one point you can stop and pick all the wild blackberries you want. We made it home with about a bowl full. Thomas was loving them on the ride back.

Sunday we took a scenic drive up the canyon here, and hung out by this little creek. It was really pretty, and Thomas had a blast throwing rocks into the water.

Instead of 'which one is your next house' it should be 'which one are you going to trick people into thinking are your house when they come and visit'...yeah I still remember.

Hey Ash-it's so good to see that you guys are adjusting and finding fun things to do. I'm impressed that you can ride a bike so far right now. We are excited to be back in Utah, but sad that so many of our friends have already moved away. We actually just made an offer on a house in Lewiston yesterday and will be siging all the papers next week. It is a cute country house with a great front porch and a fully finished yard. I'll post some pictures next week. We just hope that everything with the bank goes through like it is supposed to now. Thanks for keeping up with us. It makes me so happy to still have friends.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
