And I'm Thinking...Could This Be Labor?

So last night Thomas was literally up every hour. (Are 2 year molars normally this bad, or is it my son??) Anyways, I totally thought it was labor time. I was having contractions, and could not sleep for all the excitement. False alarm because around 4:30 they stopped, I fell asleep and haven't had any today. I never had that with Thomas, just another difference with this pregnancy. It did open my eyes to my unpreparedness. No bags packed, no nursing stuff unpacked, still need a plan of what to do with Mr. T. when the moment comes etc. I am getting on it today trust me. Today I am experiencing hot flashes, diarrhea, and a stomach ache. Am I just sick from Doritos, pizza, and ice cream, or is this a sign of things soon to come? We'll keep ya posted.

Sounds to me the signs are pointing to labor! I get really sick right before I have the baby, but that is just me. Good luck and I can't wait to hear what happens!!!!

those were my exact symptoms the day and night before my water broke.. pack your bags!! I wasn't packed and I didn't have anywhere for Reilly to go- it made for a crazy morning!! I am so excited for you! Will be checking your blog- can't wait to see your sweet baby !

AHH! Who knows really what it could be. I remember having those same symptoms, I think the body tries to clean itself out. Even if it is a false alarm, you will be ready now. Give Thomas MOTRIN! Molar's are BAD! Heidi had motrin 2X a day for about 2 months. It helped so much, I could tell when it was wearing off. I'm excited for you, and I hope it is the real thing. Get a blessing so you can sleep tonight, you will need it! GOOD LUCK! Love ya!

Uh-oh!! I got sick like that the night before I went into labor, but ya never know. Wish I could watch Thomas for you. (maybe not if he's up every hour :( That's not fun for you. Keep us posted on what's happening!!

Sounds like you are close! I never know when it is time to go to the hospital. With Mason I started contracting and making too much progress at 30 weeks and was put on bedrest. He ended up only being a week early. So you never know every baby and everyone is different. Good luck, I can't wait to see her!

Dang it I hope I don't miss you having your sweet little baby girl! I'll be there to see her as soon as I'm back in town. Ohhh... good luck. I'll be thinking of you:)

I was induced with both so not quite sure. But throughout my whole pregnancy I had constant braxton hicks, that would come and go. But I do remember when I was in labor the gassy achy feeling, so it sounds like it is soooooon. Soooooo exciting!!!!! I don't think you are ever fully ready when the little one gets here. I'll be keeping tabs, good luck!!!!

Um...those last two lines were maybe my favorite that have ever come out of your blog (or other places for that matter)...Diarreah, not cool, labor, debatable, newest member of the Harpers, very cool.
