Another miracle has happened, so wonderful, and true,
a second child has been given to us,
so precious and so new!
Thomas Nolan Harper would like to introduce you to his new little sister Grace Ashley Harper.
She was born on September 11, 2008 at 2:10 p.m. We wanted to post a few pictures for our family and friends to enjoy. We feel so blessed that everything went well, and love this little girl so much. Grace was 19 3/4 inches long, and weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces.
Birth Story for those interested
Ashley ended up being induced this morning because we were able to line up some help with Thomas, and her doctor was going to be out of town over the next few days. They started everything around 7:30 AM, but besides the pain of the nurse missing her vein 3 different times, the real pains
weren't too bad. The doctor broke
Ashley's water at 11 and at that time she got her epidural because the anestheoligst was booked the next few hours, so she didn't ever have too much contraction pain. By 1 she was ready to go, but we waited for the epidural to wear off so she could push. After about 20 minutes of pushing Grace arrived by 2:21.
We thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers for us during this time.

Congratulations! Love the name Grace she is so tiny and cute. Although 7 lbs 11 oz is pretty big, but she just looks so tiny. I am glad to hear that everything went well I am sorry to hear that they had to try and find your vein three times -yuk that was the worst part for me and it was only twice. You look amazing as well. Congrats!!! She is beautiful. It is such a blessing to have a new baby in your arms, you never forget that feeling. Don't worry about Thomas the transition time for my boys was only a month and now Carson loves his little brother and I'm sure Thomas will love his new beautiful little sister.

Congratulations! We are so happy for you and are so glad that she came so easily compared to Thomas. She's got such a cute little round face. I couldn't believe how big she was for how small you were Ashley. I told Nolan you'd be back in your size 2 pants in no time. We sure wish we could be there to see you.
