Sadly out apartment is not well insulated, and the floorboard heating system doesn't do the trick, so we bought heaters for rooms, and winterized all of the windows and doors. Now we are feeling better at night. This weekend we hosted....we fed the missionaries, a couple friends, and tonight we are bringing food to a family that just had a baby girl. Of course it's just one meal being distributed 3 ways. JUST KIDDING!
This weekend we celebrated...
Columbus DAY that is. Thanks to the CC MAN! Even though I never got it off school, or any other job I have had, Nolan gets work of on Columbus Day, federal employee benefits are so awesome!

diapers about 10 a day. The diaper industry definitely isn't feeling the economic crunch the rest of the country is.
diapers about 10 a day. The diaper industry definitely isn't feeling the economic crunch the rest of the country is.This weekend we got out....went to the park, walked around downtown, went to the library and Walmart, yea there isn't much shopping here. Good for our wallets, bad for our sanity.
This weekend I slept....Nolan took Grace out from 5 am when she usually likes to be awake, and didn't let Thomas in when he woke up, and I stayed in my bed, in my room until 10. AHHHH....the good life.
This weekend I stalked...the sitemaster lets you see who is on your blog, for how long, and where they go from your blog. So interesting, but I can see myself getting a little addicted, for instance, "Today I saw 3 different cities in Germany I know who 2 of them are, and one from Romania?" What????
This weekend we played...
Settlers Cities & Knights, ticket to ride, Wii, some card games, and Rummikub. I love playing games with the Harpo man.

Wow! You had a very busy weekend. I'm impressed with all you guys do. You must be feeling really well, except of course sleep deprived! Nolan is such a great husband to you. I can't believe Thomas will be 2! It went fast. Great post!
Nice kreativity, sounds like a busy weekend! Sleep is the best! I am looking foreward to the hollidays too! I will have to try some of those games you mentioned, too bad Seth refusses to play, I'll have to teach Dallin.
WoW! Great weekend...I'm impressed with all you did. Makes me feel a little lazy. I agree about the diaper thing. Makes me kinda mad that we spend so much on diapers. Oh well, part of the good life, eh? At least the price of gas has gone down. I saw it for $3.09 today. Who would've thought that would feel cheap? Crazy times. Wish we were there to play games with you this weekend -- or that you were here (we didn't have to winterize!). And, you're right your favorite t.v. shows usually do end up being my favorites, so thanks for the tips. Coasta Vida sounds so good. Wish I was in Cache Valley.
What is Thomas being for Halloween? Are you going to dress up Grace?
So I miss you! Hows about you move to Dayton...I'll give you some time to talk it over with Nolan, no rush;) ha! I wish. Sooo the Cooper mans birthday is tomorrow and we are just having some low key cake with grandma and grandpa and next weekend the 18th I think? we are having a halloween/birthday party! I'll fill you in with all the info later. Hummm did I mention we miss you guys.
What a fun, layed back weekend. Love those. I do feel sorry that you don't have a Costco close. SO, come see me.
I hear ya on the Romania hit--who could it be? Can't wait to see you so soon!
Yea for a Gov. Job. You guys got a lot done. I didn't even realize it was CC Day yesterday. I too wish we could come play games with the Harpers! Always a good time.
You're still obsessed with hair removal?? Seriously Ashley! jk. You guys have been busy. Aren't people supposed to be bringing you meals still?
So. . .just so you know, I use your blog for the music sometimes. I'll have to look at the sitemaster thing. I'm kinda afraid to look actually. ANyways, glad you got some sleep w/ Nolan's help. What a nice hubby.
love your blog ashley--isn't it weird how we just like to know what other people are thinking? and how it is entertaining to see the little things that we are all doing? hmm. . . sounds like I just like to be nosey :)
You still havn't sold your town home? What are you doing with it? Is someone atleast renting it? I hope so, that really sucks for you. Hope it works out soon!
What a fun weekend! I'm glad to see you are still blogging, you have the cutest family and you make the cutest posts, I love seeing what you are up and the pictures of your kids growing up.
Sounds like a great week/weekend...especially the sleep in until 10 part :) I am relieved to hear I am not the only one whipping through 10+ diapers a day. I feel like Jake has a little game going on to see if he can dirty a diaper within 1 minute after it's changed :) It's fun to watch Grace so I know what to look forward to. Can't wait until Jake smiles.
hey it sounds like you were busy! I totally feel like Walmart makes me insane too. If it wasn't for the most of the time good deals, I would avoid it all costs, as I am sure everyone would. Changing diapers is an amazingly consistent thing isn't it? Is Thomas potty trained or are you doing two in diapers? We currently have two in diapers, hopefully not for too much longer, but it's always someone's diaper to be changed! These are great times aren't they? You're little Grace is precious!
Don't stop blogging. I am no where near the interesting blogger category but it's still great to keep people updated right? But, being a Blodgett/Tippetts, you guys have humor that is not found anywhere else. I love it!
