Nolan had a trip all last week in California, so I was in Boise. His Grandfather passed away a couple days before he left so Nolan flew into Boise and we went to Malta. It was a great weekend to reflect on the life his Grandfather led, and what changes we need to make to live the kind of life that we want. His sister posted more details on the funeral here.
His Grandpa started the farm that we love so much, and leaves behind a great legacy. 
Thomas had a blast being in Boise and Malta. He could not get enough of Aunts, cousins, and Grandparents. 
For Halloween, Thomas was a clown, but the cute kind. We borrowed a costume that my sister in-law Tayna had made. 
We went trick or treating with 9 of his cousins. He had so much fun following them around and imitating their "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You's". Once the rain started we headed home, but wound up with a nice little stash.
We planned on blessing Grace that weekend, and decided to do it in Malta since so much family was already there. 
Doesn't she look so peaceful, she's such a sweet girl.
It was so special to me to have the gown my mom made for me. She looked so great and I am so grateful for her sweet spirit in our family.
Now we are back home, trying to adjust to another time change. 2 in 2 days takes its' toll on little kids I think, but we'll get there.

SOO fun to see you all. Our kids had so much fun playing with Thomas. It was so cute to see them interact together. I'm going to steal the Thomas/Heidi trick or treating picture-thanks! Grace's blessing was so nice. She is such a beautiful little girl.

look at your cute family. i love that grace wore your dress for her blessing. i have mine .. but it turned yellow :) .. maybe i can die it (def. say me on time and trying to make one). thomas is a cute clown . .kids costumes are so fun. can't wait for my kid to go trick or treating . .so i can eat her candy! hehehe. an 8 day vacation with the fam sounds like heaven to me!!

The blessing dress is beautiful and so is grace. There are really sweet days in our lives and one of them is the blessing of our babies. So proud of the Nolan Harper Family. I WANT TO BE CLOSER

I'm sorry to hear about Nolan's Gpa, but glad you got to spend some quality time with family. Grace looks so beautiful in her dress. She reminds me a lot of you. All of the pictures are so cute. Good luck with adjustments of being home.

What a special weekend. Both the blessing and the funeral, aren't funerals so bitter sweet. They make me wish I had spent more time getting to know them.

I bet it's quiet being back home with no family around. I always hate that transition, but it's a worthwhile price to pay to see fam.
