So I just want to give my older sister RaeAnn a holla. You can find a better tribute, to this girl I am lucky to call my sister, here, but I am going to attempt at it. I couldn't even begin to narrow down the resasons that I feel lucky to call her my sister. Whether we are on a road trip, shopping, chatting in a ticket to ride game, at church, or just hanging out at home it is always a party to be around her.
As a girl, I always idolized RaeAnn. How could I not with her outgoing, fun personality, good looks, and quick whit. Growing up RaeAnn had all the attention of my friends. If one of them was over, they always wanted to see what RaeAnn was doing, or have me ask her to hang out with us. If she wasn't home they wanted to use her makeup or read her journal (sorry RaeAnn) Any boy I had a crush on in middle school and high school were always more interested in my her.
Even though jealousy definitely erupted at times, I was proud to have such a cool sister, and I couldn't be more excited than when she would teach me a cheer dance, or let me go with her to a friends house or shopping. Once she left for college our relationship took on a deeper level and I really looked forward to getting letters or emails from her offering advice and support for different things in my life.
We had the best time when we moved to Boise and she moved in with us to go to school there. For the first time I felt like we were on the same level. I could borrow a sweater without remembering exactly how it was on the hanger so she woudn't find out. We would shop together, and visit each other at work. She would talk to me about Pauls mission and listened when I needed to vent about things. No matter how crazy life got I knew I could come home and just be myself with my sister.
She helps keep our family connected, and took a huge load of responsibility when my mom passed away by taking care of us, cooking, and helping dad get all the Christmas/birthday shopping done. Now we are seperated by four hours but she doesn't let it keep us from talking on the phone. Usually all 450 minutes of my cell phone plan go to her. She is so much fun to visit. Her house is always so clean and she stocks her TV recorder with favorite or funny tv moments.
She has the best games to play with Thomas, and always has a million ideas of things we can do together, even when I am lazy and want to stay in PJ's all day, she still makes it fun. She is an amazing worker, whether it's 2, 3, or 4 different jobs she is juggling, she always rises to the Employee of the month position. She not only can juggle many different jobs at once, but also different roles in my life. Whether I need a friend, sister, or mother figure she is there. I feel so lucky to have her in my life. I will never be able to repay all the things that she has done for me, including planning my wedding and dealing with BRIDEZILLA!
I love you RaeAnn, Razor, raebabe, RB! Happy Birthday!

I love all the old pictures, they are so great! RaeAnn really is such an amazing person. I always wanted her to be my sister. Hope she has a great birthday!
What a great tribute. You always had the best things to say about her. Sounds two are lucky to have each other.
On a side note, I clicked to her blog, and she is hilarious. And so are you. I read the things you said during your visit, and I am SO glad to hear you have not changed. You and the things you say are still hilarious. I can picture you saying those things perfectly. Made me miss you and our time together!
Happy birthday, RaeAnn!!
*You two...
I might have got a little teary eyed, don't tell anyone. Sisters are the best! Some of those photos of her I thought I was looking at your mom! Love you guys, Happy b-day Ranny Roo!

That is a great birthday message! Love it! YOu are such great sisters and RaeAnn is lucky to have you too! And vice versa! Your kids are getting so cute, makes me baby hungry. Hope all is well!
I echo all the tributes. You girls are such a tribute to your mom and dad (as are the boys). There is nothing sweeter to parents than their children loving each other. I add that RaeAnn is a great confidant and friend to me. Keep the love going!
Shucks. Now my bday feels official. If any of you want props like this, just tell your sister how you think you are a mean bully and look what happens! Ash YOU are the biz-est and I love you and all of those pics. Thanks for not putting our Knowledge is Power dance online.
love the tribute . . can i get a "whut whut" and a "raise the roof" to go along with that?! even when raeann was away at college she was being big sister to me . . and boy howdy was i glad she was there! she's the best and i'll always treasure that one summer that i got to be a blodgett girl and you taught me all about how to instant message like 10 people at one and raebabe gave me killer pointers about how to work it at banburry!
Oh I wanna be young and tan again. I love all the pictures. I got a kick out of putting back borrowed clothes and having to remember exactly how it was hanging. I did the same thing to my sister. Sister's are the best, and RaeAnn seems like one of a kind.
I don't know RaeAnn- but I wish I did!! She sounds amazing and I have to be honest and say I am a little jealous- I don't have a sister, but how great that you guys have such a great relationship! You girls are beautiful!!!
