This post is a little late, but I wanted to just put these pictures up of my family. The trip to Montana went really well. The kids were awesome for the 7 hour drive there and back. We only had to stop for gas, so we did make pretty good time. Thank goodness for naps, movies, and diapers so we didn't have to do potty stops.
I am really going to miss my Grandma. She is amazing, and had a great way of making me feel so special and loved. The funeral was a great way to get some closure. There were beautiful musical numbers and talks. It inspired me to serve and lift others outside of my circle as my Grandma did so well.
She is a great example for me, my sister summed up memories and wrote beautifully about her here. I stole the pictures from her blog, and her words hit exactly how I feel about my Grandma Blodgett. I am grateful to know she is with her two children that left this life so young, and her husband who passed away five years ago. It was sad to say goodbye to my Grandmas house and Hamilton. Her house was always so fun to visit, and we lived close enough that we grew up going there often. The Blodgett heritage is pretty strong in that beautiful town. There is Blodgett Canyon, Blodgett Creek, Blodgett cemetery, and others. It was always fun going there and feeling so proud of your name.

Oldest to youngest the ages range from 40's to Teens, ending with my little sister Kimberly. We also went to my moms grave site and that is always such a special experience.
There were over 100 people in my Grandmas house just with kids, grand kids, and great grand kids. Pretty crazy, but I really am close to that side of my family so it was fun to talk to as many people as I could.
I don't think there is a more beautiful graveyard anywhere, and love going up there.

All the Dave Blodgett grand kids, minus one.

I am glad we were able to be there to remember those we love so much. It really made me grateful for the stage of life I am in right now. I know that there will be a Grand Reunion with loved ones someday and that gives me the ability to enjoy things now.

Thats a really cute post, Ashleay - I can feel how close you were to your grandma and how much all of you loved her. I bet you will miss her a lot.
Your grandma was a wonderful woman, she left behind a great legacy. I'm glad your family was able to be together.
You are so sweet! What a nice post you wrote. Hope you guys are doing well!
What a touching post. You are such a loving person, you must be like your Grandma Blodgett. I think you are anyway! Love ya!
It was so good to be with you guys that weekend. It was so wonderful to meet Grace and see how much Thomas has grown. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Blodgett clan. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was being together at Blodgett cemetary. I love being with the people that love Mom because I feel like I get a chance to know her a little more. I also believe that knowing I'll be with her someday gives me happiness now. Thanks for being you! Love, Sarah
I hear ya on the long overdue post. I wanted to get it on there though. Gma B. was the bomb dot com. I have some other cute pics of you guys, so remind me next weekend!
I'm glad there will be that grand reunion too someday. Cute pictures of all you Dave Blodgetts. Where did you get your cute background?
Hdy Ashley, it was good to read your thoughts. It was fun seeing you but way too short!
It was so fun to see you out there. I wish we had had more time to talk. Thanks for posting.
I really love your grandma. I love that there was nothing pretend about her. She was what she was. Great memories of Hamilton and the house. Don't you know that your mom is so happy to be reunited with her other parents that she loved so much. I love you. AM
