Aunt Chip Comes TO Walla Walla!

We were so glad that my sister Kimberly decided to spend her Spring Break in Walla Walla with us. So maybe a spring break with a family of four isn't your idea of a PARTY, but I think we had fun. Nolan had a 50 hour work week ahead of him with one overnight trip, so she helped me out a ton. She really helped me clean my apartment top to bottom, (including the mass amount of raisins Thomas stashed in his bed!)cook some yummy food, and catch up on all my scrapbooks, but it wasn't just all work. Amidst the rainy weekend weather, we shopped around downtown, and ate at our favorite pizzeria, went to a fun little Thai place, saw some chocolate Easter Basket being made at a candy shop downtown, visited a few parks, watched a lot of our favorite movies, and played a ton of games. OH and we can't forget our photo shoot (see previous post.) We're glad she maneuvered her work schedule to spend a week here, and made it home safely amidst the bad road conditions. She's going off to BYU next fall so we need to soak up as much time with her that we can.
Thomas was so excited to see these suckers, and almost made it out of the store without paying.

Grace got this cute quilt from her Great Grandma Heaps and Great Aunt Mae. We love it!

Thanks KIM we miss you!

Sisters are the best! Who else would help you clean your house for Spring Break and be happy doing it. I am glad you guys had such a great visit. You guys look so much alike I had to do a double take on your photo shoot pics. The judges are going to have a rough time when it comes to the eliminations since you are both such great contenders. Good luck!

How fun!! Kim is so old now, I can't believe she is off to college next year. (Idaho, or Utah?) I am so jealous of all the green grass, it is still brown here.

You guys did a lot of stuff! Now I'm worried you're gonna be bored here. I love your little blip on the bottom about visiting :) I'll work on it, but after yesterday's car ride, I'm not too sure. I love the picture of Nolan in the baby swing and Thomas on the big one :) funny stuff. And nice photo shoot. You guys are definately improving from last season.

I am so glad that your sister was able to come and stay and help you out around the house. I think the swing picture of Nolan on the little swing and Thomas on the big swing is one of my favorite! Gracie is going so fast it seems like you just had her last month.

Forgot to say - I love the picture of Nolan and Thomas on the swing. That should be in a "You are the best dad book" somewhere.
