Yesterday I went to SEARS and got Graces pictures done. I don't know how I felt about the experience, but at least I got them done. Sorry the quality is bad, but you get the idea.

She was so tired, so by the end things were going pretty roughly. The photographer needed 6 different poses, and I was like just take them with her screaming, but she insisted on having me pick her up, calm her, then put her right back down.
GEEZ!

I wasn't in love with the backgrounds either. Next time I need to be better about voicing my opinion. Plain is more my style.

Her little cheek is so red. She got a second tooth 2 nights ago. What a trooper!

This is the one I ended up getting most of my prints of, but I wish I would have done the one below. Oh well. We're picking Nolan up at the airport at 11:30 tonight, and then driving 2 hours to Malta. Oh boy, I don't know if I'll make it:-)

Oh I am so sorry it was rough. I had a pretty bad experiance at Sears also last year. I went down to kiddie kandids just minutes after our bad experiance, and what do you know my kids were all smiles there. I really love kiddie kandids, they know what they are doing! Sears was awful.
They are cute. I hate picture day.. in fact we are going MOnday to get pictures done..

Those are so cute!!! She is adorable!
So cute, sorry it was rough. I recommend Kiddie or a friend with a nice camera and photo shop. :0) But what a doll!
I think she looks so Blodgett. What a model, even with the drama. Cutie Pie!
pictures with babies are rough...I agree a friend with a camera is the way to go, then you can do it wherever and whenever...they turned out well, though.
She's so beautiful she brings a tear to my eye. I can't believe she's already 6 months. We need to get Grace and Donald together so they can get to know each other a little. Love, Sarah
What a cutie! I can't believe she's six months...it seriously goes by so fast. And two teeth already, wow! Good luck with the late night :)
I like the one in her striped shirt, is that a little tear? I always feel so guilty if I don't get "professional" pictures every so often. It's such a hassle and home grown pictures are always better, but it's part of being a mom I guess. You survived, and she's so cute and getting so big.
What a doll. They turned out darling, but I know how picture day drama goes! I've always gone to Kiddie Kandids, but they raised their prices, and I don't think I'll go there any more. I can't believe she's 6 months old! How fun.
She is such a cutie! Sorry things didn't go as well as you wanted them to. I have had both good and bad pics at both JCPenny's and Kiddie Kandids - maybe it depends more on the person who is taking the photos at the time. Hope you have a good time in Malta.
Grace looks adorable, even with a very flowery background. and I like the one you picked, it's all about showing her progress ash!! hahah. But I do love the crooked smile, I just know she's gonna be on Team Edward, I'll save her my shirt! :)
She looks so sweet. Of course they didn't capture her true huge smile/huge eyes face that she gives to me everytime she sees me and Thomas barking at her like puppies...
They did turn out really good! I really like the one you got. I hate getting pictures done! It's always such a hassle and it's worse when the photographers HAVE to get a certain amount and they won't just do it. I did my own last summer and they turned out pretty good. I just dressed them up out followed then around outside and snapped them. It was a much better experience!
Pictures are hard with babies! But I think they turned out so cute, especially the close-up last one. Love her little smile. I agree about the plain backgrounds are better. Gives more emphasis on them or something. Anyways, you are crazy to drive so late! At least the kids will be asleep! Good luck. And we'd love to have you conference weekend. Call me sometime!
Professional pictures are always so hard, but they turned out cute. I've decided that I take enough of my own pictures that I'm not paying someone else to take them for me. I just hope I get as many cute ones.
We had a really rough time with Tanner at his one-year pictures. It's so hard when you go to all the trouble and it ends up being frustrating. She still looks adorable though.
what a cutie! why is it picture days never go the way we planned?! 6 months and she's still so teeny - must take after her mother!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe she's already 6 months!! Mason was 1 month this last thursday and I still can't believe it....I guess I need to get use to our kids growing fast! Anyways, I think Grace is adorable! I like the big flower background and I think that she looks so cute in her little outfit. Sorry you had a bad experience, but maybe you can look back and laugh on it one day?! Hopefully!
I am sorry---picture days are rough. I don't even go without Bryan anymore. I think you need one person to wrangle and one person to get them to smile. Doesn't matter though, she still looks super sweet and cute!
Cute pictures! I'm so glad that we got to see you this weekend. I wish we could have had a couple more days. There's just never enough time. Your kids are growing up so cute. I'm glad things are going so well for you you.
She is a doll! Sorry it was not the easiest! I can't believe she is 6 months already!
cute, cute, cute. I love the one of you and her together.
Getting pictures done is tough. I rarely have had a "good" experience. I always feel like I could have done a better job at home which is why sometimes I just do that. She did look so sweet, even though she was sad. At least you can say you did it right? I don't really think those photographers are truly professionals do yOU?
she is just the sweetest little thing i have ever seen.
