I have to admit I am not the best at reading my month Ensign issues, but I have set a goal to do it more and it is silly that I haven't been reading it more. Almost every article has hit on something that has helped me, inspired me, or educated me. I think my favorite article was the first one by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. I recommend everyone clicking here and reading it. I have so many moments of feeling lame and this really encouraged me to not only do better, but to accept what I am doing right. My favorite quote was near the end:
"May I invite you to rise to the great potential within you. But don't reach beyond your capacity. Don't set goals beyond your capacity to achieve. Don't feel guilty or dwell on thoughts of failure. Don't compare yourself with other. Do the best you can and the Lord will provide the rest. Have confidence in Him, and you will see miracles happen in your life and the lives of your loved ones."
So what I need to remind myself of each day. Work on the goals I need to, and don't dwell on the things I am not doing. I hope you can all find something in this article that will help or make you feel better about yourself. I think we all need a pick me up once and awhile!
(Sorry if you have already seen this post in Google Reader) it published a little while ago but I didn't want it to until the link was up on the website.)

I loved that article! It was so inspiring. I agree, I have not been the best at reading my Ensign. Until this month I saw that article and it really sparked interest.
Thanks for sharing sis. Got me excited for conference next month. Do you know how many people have to work really hard to not compare themselves to beautiful you? I am one of the many.
I am the same way with my Ensigns. I have made a goal to read it more faithfully. What a great quote. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great article. It really is shocking what our potential in life is. If we could just see it ourselves, we could be one of those great women. And we are! Thanks for sharing!
We are our own worst critics! I think you are amazing! You are a wonderful creative mother, and a super wife to Nolan, and a friend to everyone. Keep up the good work!
I loved the quote! It would be amazing what we all could accomplish by just giving ourself a little more credit. Thanks for sharing =0)
Those Ensign articles can help us so much! I had an answer to pray this month when Elder Holland explained something I had been wanting to know for about a year! I'm proud of all you're doing!
thanks for sharing. I need those reminders very often. I remember Sherie Dew once said that we often compare our own weaknesses with other people's strengths. It's so easy to focus on the things that are we are lacking in (I am bad at this) rather on the things we are good at. This post was great beginning to my day.
I needed that talk too. I was feeling overwhelmed about all I don't get done in the day, but that article helped me. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that feels like that too!
