Some great, and some bad, and I truly have never felt so exhausted before, but I guess that is just life and we push through it.I'll start with the good. A few weeks ago we started a little venture to see as many people that we could! We stayed in 7 different places, in 4 different states, went boating in 3 different boats,
and drove for 26 hours in 2 weeks. It was pretty ambitious but we're so glad we got to visit so many people. Our first stop was a few days in Boise while Nolan did some work there. He was in meetings until like 11 at night, and left early each morning. I managed to catch a midnight showing of Eclipse with my two besties one night and it was quite the comical experience.
I'll just say I've never seen a longer line for a girls bathrooms. Baseball stadiums have nothing on Twilight premiers! We managed a little boating in with my sister too so that started off the week of watersports. Toward the end of the week we drove to Malta and joined up with Nolans family for a reunion over 3 nights.
Boating was done, fireworks were watched, games played, and Thomas and Grace had a blast with all the kids. The tramp was such a huge hit, I'm wanting one now.
We wished we could have been together for more of it, but were glad we got to see everyone!
Following that we went to see my brothers home they just finished last winter in Big Sky, Montana. It's on the Gallatin River and it was so peaceful and fun to catch up. We hadn't seen them for over a year.
We ate at the restaurant where my brother works on our way out and IT WAS so great. I highly recomend it if you're in Bozeman area!
Two days later we drove to Island Park to spend a couple nights with some friends here at their parents cabin. The weather was not super hot, but it didn't stop us from getting in the water and from me wake boarding my best ever! So fun! I am ready for some back flips now:-)
My friend Camille above was the most amazing slalomer I've ever seen. We had fun watching her. We also four wheeled, played some games, and the Wii and watched some movies.
From there we headed to Smithfield to catch up with some good friends and check in on our townhome and get some renters in it.
It made me homesick to be around so many young, familiar faces. I'm glad we have remained close for the past two years.
We've had some issues withour new renters and I am glad we were there, but I am hoping they will turn out just fine and love the place as much as we do. Maybe that stress will be behind us.
We stopped by Malta one more night to see some more extended family that we hadn't for a long time, and of course get some boating in. And then we headed home. Such a great trip, there were moments I told Nolan I couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone who hosted us, and visited with us. It's good we have the to pull from this week because we are all really sick excluding Nolan, body aches, cough, fever, kankers, you name it. I'm feeling like it could be the Swine Flu that we managed to pass last fall? I think Grace might be getting molars too. Our computer has been VIRUS'D again. We just got it back, so sorry if I've been missing blog comments, or emails.
And lastly, our landlord needs us to move out in 2 weeks because she needs to live here. We just moved in last November, and we could tell her forget it, but she said when our contract is up she'll bump the rent $500 more (who knows if that is true or a threat), so we'll be have to move soon anyway. Finding a decent rental here is one of the hardest things we have had to do, and this is our 3rd time doing it. I just wanted so badly to get home and relax for 2 weeks before we head out for a family reunion with my family, but I am sure after that things will settle down. I guess our lives wouldn't be normal if we went a year without moving. 6 moves in 6 years of marriage now. At least we stay organized:-)
The good news is Nolan is no longer an intern and has a permanent position with the corp, so NO MORE TRAVELING!! (well maybe once or twice a year)
So that is the lowdown on our latest. Don't worry about commenting about any of the lame stuff, just on all the fun stuff we were able to get done, and how absolutely stunning every picture is:-)

You guys are crazy. Sounds fun, sorta. You just must have really good kids for traveling!! So, does this mean that you're "permanently" in WallaWalla?

I'm sorry you guys are sick, that's no fun. At least you had a ton of fun before getting sick, right?
traveling with kids is no easy game...we're experiencing that now. But it's so worth it. It's amazing what we'll do to be with the ones we love.
Ben and Kara's house is done? I didn't know. We will have to stop and see it next time to ID.
Where is your reunion gonna be? Hope you can find a good place. Sounds like an awesome trip.
Yikes. So stressful! I hope you get settled soon. And I'm SOOO glad to hear Nolan doesn't have to travel anymore.
