And Now, It's Winter!

I feel bad that my last post was a whole season ago, but what can I say, sometimes I'm on top of the blog, and sometimes...not so much. Since Sunday the snow has been falling pretty constantly here. It really is fun, and makes me so excited for the holidays. I am just glad we are staying in town this year and aren't stressing about bad roads and can just enjoy Thanksgiving festivities. The kids have really loved the snow. Thomas has a good routine of cleaning it off all the trees and bushes in our yard, and Grace goes around eating it. The get cold after about 1/2 hour, and then 10 minutes later want to do it all over again. I usually shovel while the play and whew what a workout! When we aren't playing in the snow, we're keeping entertained in new ways. Many forts have been constructed, and yesterday Grace put this food basket on her head and chased us around the house with a baseball bat. Probably not the best game, but it kept the kids entertained for a while, and they ran off some energy.
I've definitely enjoyed reading many posts of gratitude and thanks this past week. Thanks for all your thoughts, it's inspired me and I've really felt the spirit of this great holiday. I feel very blessed and am grateful for the things in my life that inspire, uplift, encourage, and bring me joy. Happy Holidays!

Horray for Snow! I'm glad you aren't trying to travel anywhere either. Yucky roads! I love Gracie's coat, it's so cute. School was canceled for the kids today! We are rearranging bedrooms! Such fun! Can't wait until Christmas!

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! I'm glad you guys will be safe in Walla Walla and not attempting the roads, though we will miss you. Also, I feel like you're training your daughter to be the ax murderer guy in Phoebe's nightmare

I know, the snow has been great this week! You're kids are brave to go out. Kaleb didn't want to and I didn't push it because it was COLD. I think we're getting wussy :)

So fun! It was fun to hear how they get cold after 1/2 hour and then want to go back out. It's so much work! Glad you could stay home for Thanksgiving. We hope the roads are good so we can see you all after Christmas.
