It's June did you know?

And we are still having strange weather days....like right now it is pouring rain!?! So we stay inside and try and keep occupied. Thomas is pretty impressive doing P90X with Nolan. He can do a lot of the YOGA vinyasa without the video on. So funny. But more often lately, it's been very sunny and warm. On those days we are outside a lot. There are a ton of neighbor kids a few years older and they all play together for hours. They're pretty sweet with Thomas and Grace. It's the first summer Nolan and I feel good about them being outside by themselves. So crazy!Grace is fully riding a bike. I can't believe how quickly she caught on. With Thomas we were out there so much helping him, and taping his feet to the pedals, but she just did it on her own for the most part. I think she is taller than Thomas was at that age too so that helps.
Thomas had his little ABC school graduation. All the families met at the park one night and had a little picnic and "CEREMONY" Afterwards I gave them a sheet of bubble wrap and they loved popping it to make a loud noise to celebrate being done. It was cute. The boy in the back was part of the class he was just being a frog :-) I also made hats and little diplomas which we wrapped in STARBURST'S and gave to the kids. I really loved doing it this year. I can't believe how quickly Thomas is learning his phonetics. He really enjoys spelling and writing. We have a lot of chalk drawing on our cement. Nolan helped out with this one.
Usually the kids want something cold to snack on so we've been making smoothies a lot. I've recently been adding Spinach to them to bring in some veggies and help them be a little more substantial. The kids don't mind the spinach, but Thomas doesn't like the Green color. I guess you can add blueberries to offset the green. Personally, the spinach is not a huge taste in it for me, but I if I am going to have a smoothie and spinach I prefer to have them separate. This is the best way to get the kids to eat a ton of it though. So if you're wanting to know how I make them, I put in a Ziploc bag full of peaches, strawberries, Mango, and a peeled orange. That's my favorite mixture, but you can add whatever fruit you prefer. Add a 1/4 cup milk, ice, and blend. Then I cram in as much spinach as will fit, and blend til smooth and serve. There you have it, GREEN smoothies...
Baths each night is essential after the kids have been outside all day, and one day we left Thomas in too long. He was complaining his feet hurt if he stood on them, and this is what we saw. Poor little guy. Luckily they aired out pretty quickly.
And that's our summer schedule in a nutshell! 3 more weeks ti' moving to Malta!

Gracie girl looks so cute and sassy on her bike with her stylish sunglasses! I'm very impressed with Thomas' p90x! How funny! That's really smart to put the spinach in their smoothies. I'm surprised they eat it still, I don't think I would--I'm too picky!

spinach smoothy??? I'm not so sure. You'll have to teach me how to make them, it sounds healthy and fun... if I could get past the spinach part! Great way to get a healthy veggie in them! Thomas has some major raisin toes! Tyler loves raisin hands!

Cutie pie on the bike! Bath time is necessary at our house each night. My kids are so flithy by the end of the day. We can never get Stone out, and I always say, "are your hands raisens yet??" And when they are, I'll say, "oooh no! Time to get out! haha. Such cute kids!!

Looks like a great way to start the summer. What a cute post. Your smoothies like great. It's no wonder your so skinny and healthy if that's what you eat. That was funny about Thomas's feet. We tell our kids that they're turning into fish when that happens and it's definitely time to get out. They jump right out because they don't want to become fish. Cute graduation too. Grace reminds me of Holly's Jordan a lot.

I can't believe Grace is riding a bike! That's awesome, we can't get Beck at all interested in his. I need to try your smoothie recipe...I make them for the kids almost daily too and stuff them with spinach and carrots - the only way Beck is happy to eat veggies :) Super cute end of preschool pics!
