One month left in Washington!
So I said I would write about our 7 year anniversary and I never did so better late than never. We are lacking pictures, but we had a good time in Spokane for the weekend. Nolan's uncle has a great cabin about an hour outside of Spokane on Diamond Lake. It was really great to see the water all day something about it relaxes me. Nolan helped with some landscaping there, and the kids had a ton of fun "helping" dad work. Usually by throwing rocks in the lake and digging holes. We got each other a couple little gifts, but our big present in happening at the end of June when we are going to HAWAII for a week. I can't wait to really celebrate then. I have only spent one night away from Thomas when I had Grace in the hospital, and I have never spent a night away from Gracie girl...so I am nervous, but it's time. My sister in-law Holly and her husband are coming too. It'll be so fun. I am so excited and we talk about it WAY too much. So in a way June can't come fast enough. But in another way I want time to move slower. The last year I've really become good friends with a group of 6 girls in our ward. We try and be pretty cheesy when taking pictures...here are a couple of our cheer-leading poses.
After this summer 3 maybe 4 of us will be moving so we really feel like we should live it up. We started a little book club, the Walla Walla Sweet Readers,
and usually have a girls night or get together of some sort each week. Some times, we invite our husbands to join in the fun.
This week I threw a surprise 30th party for a fellow Sweet Reader. We played Minute to Win it games and had a great time. We'll miss the people here so much. They're what makes Walla Walla so great.

Oh, that's a fun/sad post. At least you are not the only one moving. So when you start up a Malta group, maybe I can be in it too??? You are always the life of the party!
Looks like fun! Hawaii sounds fun.. I will count down your days for you!! Then it just means that much closer to having the baby!

How fun that you have a group of close girls. And Hawaii!! Wahoo!! How fun!! Cliff and I had a short trip a couple years ago when Stone was young, but he had a school conference, so it wasn't a true vacation. Can't wait to have a true vacay with the hubby. Have fun!!!
Looks like you have some great friends and great get togethers! It will be hard to leave them, but I have no doubts that you will get lots of new friends in Malta fast! I'm glad you get to go to Hawaii!
wow!! You look VERY social!! :)
I am glad you have had such great friends. You guys are always doing fun things together. Moving is hard!!! but exciting too. I am excited you guys get to go to Hawaii.
I bet you're so excited for Hawaii, congrats!! We are in the middle of planning a trip there for next January and already I can't wait. We're bringing Gigi though since it's with all of Adam's family.
HAWAII!!! AWESOME!!! I am so jealous. It is always so hard to leave good friends behind. Glad you had them while you were there though. I got your package in the mail the other day, THANK YOU! The clothes are adorable and the boys love the pez despencers. We would love to stop in Malta sometime too! Seth grew up on a farm in Downey and has lots of family in Pocatello. So not too far.
No one else is counting down the days to Hawaii like you, but me! I am so excited and can't wait to do some planning when we see you in Idaho. I can't imagine moving and leaving good friends. That's why I'm still living in Palo Alto, where I can't afford to live, but can't stand the thought of leaving our friends and ward. I know it will be hard, but you are so strong and over time you will bring great life to ol' Malta.
Happy late Anniversary! I hate leaving friends-it stinks. We just got back from Hawaii! It was amazing and you are going to love it! Which island are you going to?
That's so exciting you're going to Hawaii! I know what you mean about being nervous about leaving your kids, I'm the same way...but we've already said, by the time Ingrid is 2 (like Grace, right?) we're going to plan a big trip :) I didn't know you guys were moving - where to next??
FUN! Happy 7 years! What island are you going to?! If you come to Oahu let me know and I'll tell you some great spots to go to! Unfortunately, Matt and I will be gone! Let me know though!
Your friends look like fun, I'm glad you have some cool people to hang out with! I can't wait for us to have a good group of friends to do things like that with!
