Goodbye Harper Happenings

Well I've been thinking about this for a long time now. It's lame because I use to be the biggest fan of blogging, but it isn't the priority it once was for me, and I am going to take a break from it for a while. I use to feel like it was a great way to stay in touch with everyone, but so many people are doing it so much less, and hardly anyone comments so it doesn't have the social part of it, that it once had.
So I'm making it private until I do come back to Blogging just so I can keep it in case I do want to come back, but don't worry you don't need an invite because I won't be blogging.

So sad. I've been feeling the same way. I don't feel like anyone blogs anymore!! I hope you do come back to it. I'll keep you on my friends list just in case.

I guess this means we'll seriously have to talk on the phone more often. Blogging made it too easy to FEEL like we were keeping in touch, but I'd much prefer a live chat every once in a while. Or, heck, we could video chat on gmail.

I love you Ashley Blodgett! I hope all is well in Malta!!!

I do hope you come back to blogging, it's such a great way to keep in touch. I agree with you though, sometimes it can be so overwhelming. Maybe a little break will be good.

And I loved your pics from Maui. We're actually going there in January so it was fun reading and seeing what you guys did. Looks like you had such an amazing time there.

Oooooh no!! At least we have FB to keep in touch. I get it, though. I used to blog like twice a week. Now it's once every two weeks. Please don't stay away too long!!

Sad Ashley.....I don't get many comments either but for me it is about showing my family pictures and at this point it is my journal and scrapbook. I hope you put pictures on facebook at least so I can see you guys. Miss you and love you!

Darn you facebook! =) I think that has made people stop blogging. I still use my blog kind of as a journal but it's definitely not the social interaction it used to be! Hope all is going well for you guys!!

I'm so sad - your blog is the only way I keep up with you guys! Maybe you could do some semi-annual posts or something? I understand though...I keep blogging for the record-keeping aspect of it, but I know you're a very talented scrapbooker and so don't need it for that. Make sure you do invite me if you start blogging again. I'll miss your cute little family!

What!? I just got on to catch up on your blog and what?! I love your posts cousin. I hope you come back. Remember, Mom doesn't have facebook, so she relies on these blogs for updates from her family :-) You gotta think of the old folks :-)

Dont' leave us!!! I know people don't comment much anymore but I think everyone still reads!! You can take a break but you have to come back because it has been so fun seeing what your'e up to!

I know just what you mean! Either no one is blogging (I think it's because it's summer....?) or no one is commenting. Commenting seems to really make it or break it. It bothers me because I can see how many people are viewing and where they come from and then no one comments, more than half of them I don't even know so it feels like weird silent stalking. I wouldn't mind if a comment or two were left, but it's weird. Matt keeps telling me not to delete the blog because then his family can keep track of us since we are so far away.

Have fun being free from blogging! You will be missed, trust me!!!

Don't stop blogging! Your trip to Hawaii looked amazing and I really want to see the rest of it!

Oh you big geek! That is lame, what do you have to do in the middle of nowhere that is so important? I guess since I'm an anti-facebookite I won't be keeping up with the Harper Fam. So lame! Guess I should have commented....

EXCEPT you have to finish your Hawaii posts....Don't leave a cousin hanging....and just so you know even if I don't comment every time, your blog is part of my daily routine (sometimes more than once, just in case)...

(sorry one more thing), but you should also know that I am, in fact, checking this from Rome, not even gladiators hold me back.

I hope you will still blog! I talked to Jill and she was sad. She wants to know what everyone is doing out here! I KNOW I need to do better and share my simple little life more!
