I know bringing a baby home makes your kids seem big, but holy cow they are changing so fast!
Thomas lost
another tooth over the weekend, and Grace is so big to me now. I think with her it's a combination of a new baby around and the fact that I hardly held her the last 4 months of my pregnancy. Now when she sits on my lap or I hold her I am amazed how how much she has grown! With a baby around time feels like it is flying by. She loves bath-time and I love giving them to her. Her umbilical cord has already fallen off and we're working on shedding her layer of dead/dry skin.
We stay home and stay busy, but we wouldn't change it. Emma is fitting right into our family life. Here she is in her crib which she won't sleep in too well. We have her in our room and usually in our bed at night because she sleeps so much better with us. This is the first kid I've allowed in our bed.
I do feel like she looks like Grace the more I look back at Grace's baby pictures.I already feel like she has changed so much since I posted about her birth. Her head is almost completely better and she's back to her birth-weight so we're doing well. Last Wednesday my sister RaeAnn and her 2 girls came to stay with us. She spoiled us with presents and the kids loved playing with her and having Jenna around.
We had some crazy moments with 5 kids 5 and under, but it was great having someone to talk to and help with things. We know Katie Ann and Emma Jean will be best buddies in a year or two.
RaeAnn brought tons of newborn clothes for Emma to wear because I've never had any and I love how cute they all are and how well the fit her. I want to take a picture of her in each one :-)
Nolan snapped this picture because he so wants a thumb sucker and Emma was making quick work with her thumb the other night. I'm still hoping I'll have a kid that will take a binki. Time will tell...
I wish I would have gotten a picture of me with my sister but next time I will remember. The rest of the week we ate yummy food, and watched conference. Emma got a chuckle out of some of the talks even!

Those newborn outfits fit her great. She changes so fast. She is so cute! Love the long fingers in the picture of her sucking her thumb. Grace looks bigger than Thomas in that first picture....probably just the picture. How fun to have your sister there. Her girls are adorable too!!
I cannot wait to meet that baby!! I think her and Katie look a lot alike! She looks so tiny in that picture with Grace and Thomas--it's crazy!! You are all so cute! I miss you!!

Grace has some killer long legs :) i forgot to say ot in your last post, but I am loving her hair too! Emma is so sweet and small! Her bath picture looks like she is long!
So cute! Glad you are doing well : ) I did the same thing with my third baby. First one to sleep with me in bed. Did that for half the night until 6 weeks and then kicked him out, but I'd do it again! Love snuggly time!
I wish this was a private comment, but I have to say, that this was one of the only vacations that I have not been itching to come home from! I loved it there, and I love your family, and house, and cooking!

Oh my, she is so adorable! I love all her outfits! Your kids are so cute, and Grace and Thomas do seem so old now!

Love this post. I can only imagine how much bonding you and RA did. I am so happy that the cousins are such good friends. Love you and WISH I could blink and be there too. Sweet Baby. Love the thumb.

Congratulations Ashley! I've been out of town and missed a lot I guess. :) So happy for you! She is absolutely beautiful! I'm glad everything in the hospital turned out ok. Have fun with that newborn.
