Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. I'm so grateful for the Saviors example and sacrifice for us, and glad for this season to reflect on new birth.
Our weekend started Friday night with some egg dying. The kids had a lot of fun doing their own thing and I think this is the first time we've dyed eggs as just our little family. Emma even represented with a couple eggs Nolan "helped" her do. The next morning we woke up and went to the Easter Egg Hunt that the Malta Fire Department puts on. These kids got hooked up. They put full size bags of peanut butter M&M's and boxes of Peeps and tons of Reese's eggs just out on the grass. They didn't actually have any eggs for the kids to find, but the candy is the main reason for those hunts right? We got there 10 minutes early and the hunt was over in 2 minutes, but the kids loved it, and Emma got to make a debut to most in Malta who hadn't seen her yet. That night my brother Craig, and Rebekah and their son Cy came to stay the night from Colorado. We hadn't met Cy and they got to meet Emma. We had fun hanging out and chatting that night. The next morning was filled with an Easter hunt inside, and one outside. So glad it was such a beautiful Easter day! The kids all played outside until we went to church at noon. Craig and Company headed to Boise then too.
That night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Nolan's parents house. Afterwards there were a few more Egg Hunts and lots of soaking up the windless sunny day!
Emma is doing well. I am already getting sad that she is looking less newborn when I see the pictures that I posted previously. Oh Emma Jean stay little please!

You are so on top of it! I need to finish my February posts! Emma still is so little, but it is such a bummer those first few months go SOO fast.

Okay, so CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so behind in my blog reading and had no idea you had your sweet little baby! Emma is beautiful and your family of five looks like such fun. Your labor and delivery story sounded scary - I'm glad you both are okay! Happy late Easter!
