Easter in Boise

My sister, raeann, who has lived in Boise for our whole marriage moved to Seattle in March. I was so sad that she was going to be far away now. But luckily for me, they were going to Boise for Easter week. So the kids and I decided to pack and meet them there for five days. It was a fun trip. We dyed eggs,

Went on walks, played at Parks, and went on a Krispy Kreme tour. My cousin jessica lives there now and we have kids the same ages and gender so we have fun playing with them that week too.

 We also went to an egg hunt in my dad's yard.

 

We had fun hiding eggs for the kids together, and watching them find them the next morning. There were a couple of bummer moments. Thomas got strep throat and it got so bad that he could hardly breathe or talk out of his throat. After two trips to the urgent care, we got him on the right antibiotics and some steroids to shrink the tonsils. It was also sad to not be with Nolan on Easter. I'm a pretty lame wife, luckily he was with his family celebrating.

I feel like the only way for me to travel is without him from spring to fall because of his busy schedule. I was happy to see my sister though, and the next time I do she'll have a new baby girl for us to meet! We'll just add to the chaos on Papa's bed!
