Last Sunday we blessed James. It was a really great day. Our church is later, so in the morning we prepared the food for after the blessing. We were doing pulled pork and taco meat, for taco salads. Then it was off to church. Our sacrament meeting is last and it was fun having everyone ooh and aah about him all dressed in white beforehand.
Nolan did a great job for the blessing. His brother Darin, and brother in-laws Kent, and Nate stood in the circle with him along with his dad and my dad.
After the blessing I really wanted to bear my testimony. It was a crazy meeting for us as usual and I was worried I wouldn't get the chance. James needed to fall asleep, Emma was tired too and we had to take her out twice. Luckily with just a few minutes left I was able to get up and express the love that I have felt from our Heavenly Father since having James.
Then we headed to our house and enjoyed each others company and ate. It was superbowl Sunday and everyone went to the River House to watch it. We were pretty wiped and just stayed at our house and had some family time.
So glad we could honor this little guy. We're so happy to have him in our family! OH I could just kiss him!

I can't believe how itty bitty you are at his blessing. You probably bounce back to your hot bod quicker than anyone I know!
