A week ago the kids and I loaded up for a much over due trip to Boise. We were so happy we could be there during my dad's birthday too! It had been over 6 months since we last went to Boise. Much too long. When we first got there the kids were wondering why my dad had 2 computer monitors. He told them it was so he could do 2 things at once. Grace replied, "Oh I get it, like you can do dishes and staple at the same time. But on the computer." My dad's face was pretty confused, but that's just my Grace.
The next day was his birthday. He went for a round of golf, and the kids and I went on a walk and played at a friends house. After we got back and did naps we were all ready for a party! We opened gifts, and watched some movie previews on his ROKU. Another funny from Grace was after we'd watched a preview she was surprised to see it over, and said, "That was the shortest movie ever."
Meridian has a new outdoor mall that I have heard many good things about and so we decided to head that way for my dad's birthday dinner. We went to a place called Yardhouse. It was such a cool atmosphere and good food.
They even brought out a yummy dessert for his special day. Then we went home and had more dessert. Sorry to bust the diet dad!
I sure love this dad of mine. There aren't very many people out there who I trust and respect as much as I do him. He's got a great sense of humor and a soft spot for babies. We're working on getting him to move to Malta, but not sure if he could leave all the golf courses behind.
We also visited my cousins house/farm while we were there. The kids had a great time with hers that are the same age. We need them to move to Malta too! We love you Boise, you always treat us right! Until next time...

I am glad you guys could spend dad's bday with him! And good-daughter on the cheesecake!
haha I was gonna say the same thing as ReaAnn! Like the exact same thing...I will also add Grace is hilarious, does she often have to staple things for her chores? :)
Fun! I'm just in awe at how much your kids have grown! You need to post more on Instagram!!
