When did this happen? I mean I remember feeling shocked when he was five and when he started school, but this turning 8 business has really forced me into a whole new set of feelings and emotions.
Thomas woke up with a request for pancakes, cheesy eggs, and bacon. This boy can throw down when it comes to breakfast and definitely eats more than me each morning.
He requested a LEGO cake, and LEGO pinata. I made the cake.
Nolan made the pinata. Thomas had four friends come over after school for a few hours. They busted into the pinata. I had to make sure they all stood plenty far back because as you can see these boys were swinging hard!
Played games, and ate cake. That night we were going to have a party with the family, but he decided most of all he wanted to go to Scout Pack Meeting. He was so excited to be there, it was cute watching him, and crazy to think we have a kid in Boy scouts now. I don't know if you can ask for a better kid than Thomas. He's very sincere and obedient. He loves to laugh, and use his brain. I love this not so little boy of ours!
