Randomness

This week has been pretty low key. We're still working on the whole potty training thing and Thomas goes around the house looking like this for a lot of the time. Nolan hates it, but it is only temporary. It's been really nice here, and we've had a few fun days outside with some other friends. Welp next week we'll be in Boise while Nolan takes a trip to good ol' Nashville Tennessee. He is planning on going to the Grand Ole Opry, and maybe a hockey game or Globe Trotters game. I always like to have snacks for the road so I dried a lot of fruit this week. Nolan bought me this food dehydrator for Valentines Day and I love it so far. Anyone out there have any favorite things to do with a dehydrator please let me know, I am wanting to get tons of use out of it. Okay so here is the funny story of the week. I was getting all of Graces next stage of clothes out and washed and Nolan was laughing at me saying they were too big and would fit Thomas better than Grace. Well what do you think? Thomas or Grace? I am still surprised the it fit Thomas so well. Seriously this boy is 2 and 1/2 wearing 6-9 month old clothes. Even though Nolan didn't appreciate the whole idea of cross-dressing. We were both laughing so hard.

just left a comment and then boom another post appeared :) i saw thomas in the girl clothes before i read and wondered who that girl was :) how cute is he! wish i had advise with the dehydrator . .we have one and used it last summer when we first got here to make fruit roll ups and tried drying some strawberries. .but we must not have done something right because the strawberries stuck to the container and the roll ups were nasty! what's your secret in getting it to turn out? and don't you say "following the directions" :)

That is so funny! Don't worry, Grace looks cuter!

That's hilarious! My girls are like that too though, Brooklyn is wearing clothes now that Kenzie wore last winter. Pretty soon they'll be in the same size, so much for hand-me-downs!

Ha ha, I think the shirt fit Thomas better! So funny! Dallin ran around naked for about a week when we were potty training him. I think they catch on a lot faster that way. It will be a little more difficult with Mason. I am not so sure the daycare parents would be thrilled with his birthday suit. So we will have to find another way, but summer is coming and I think I will let him run around in our backyard and figure it out that way. Did your strawberries turn out? we did them once and they just stuck to the food dryer. I think you have to do them whole, but I haven't tried it.

That is hilarious. I think it almost fits Thomas better. Good luck with the potty training thing. I can't believe you are doing it. I hope it is going well. Taylor has that same shirt. They can be twinners. So cute

The picture of thomas in grace's clothes is hilarious. I'd never thought about it but I bet Hayes would fit in Kamri's clothes since she's so big and he's little!

That is pretty funny! I love the cross dressing. I think that is ok that she is wearing them before they fit tight. I learned that its better to enjoy them longer:) just have her wear t-shirts! how fun for him to go to nashville. My brother in law just got back from there, and he said that the Grand ole opry is huge..

I love the blue bow on Thomas's head too! So funny! I do think they fit him better, and he likes the clothes too by the look on his face :) So, last year I made peach fruit roll-ups with my dehydrater. You probably already know how but you just puree fruit, add juice, and then pour a thin layer and dry away. Nummy and cheaper than the store!

I can't believe Thomas can fit in Grace's clothes - those pictuers are hilarious! And I'm very impressed with your fruit dehydration - looks good!

What I can't believe is that no one has commented on how you have a naked boy, FRUIT, and a drag-toddler. Must be just me. :)

Thomas makes a cute girl! That is pretty crazy he can fit in clothes that small. I am jealous of your food dehydrator. It is on my long list of wanted items. RaeAnn has an interesting point. I hadn't really put the pics together quite like that. Too funny!

I LOVE my food dehydrator!! We dry herbs, apricots and we make a ton of fruit roll ups. We just puree the fruit and pour it on the tray. No additives at all.

oh man, I think I need a food dehydrator. . . are those kiwi? I had no idea of the possibilities. . .

Impressive fruit drying skillz. My mom did that for us and I loved it. I didn't know you could do kiwis though. I know TONS of ppl that put their boys in their daughters clothes for a laugh! Good times.

So cute! I think they both can pull off the outfit! Your pics of the dehydrated food makes me want one too. My mom always did pears and we loved them!

Go Ashley, potty training and fruit drying all at once. The fruit does look good. Hope Thomas still is enjoying his "chips" and using the potty. I can't believe he can fit into 6-9 month stuff. Very Funny.

That is hilarious! Thomas and Kasen would both get along because they are both little guys. Their has been a lot of nakedness at my house as well. The joys of potty training! Drying fruit is such a great idea!

That's so FUNNY! Hey I want a dehydrator.. is it easy to use? And what's this about fruit roll ups, can you really make them? If so tell us how. Jason will run out and buy one tonight if I told him I could make him roll ups to take to work everyday LOL. When are you guys coming to Cali?

thomas makes for a cute girl. ha ha ha!!! He's just a cute boy no matter what you put him in.

Love the clothes! I can't believe Thomas can wear them. Boys are shaped a little different than girls though. Girls tend to have a little more 'padding' :). I love to do fruit rollups in the dehydrator. What did you do? Strawberries, apples, and Peppers?

Hmmm...this is one interesting post. I have to agree with your sis about the blog title. Poor Thomas is going to get you one day for this one. HAHA! We laughed at this one. I can't believe he fits in Grace's clothes.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
