Last week in Orofino

Wahoo! I needed to post this last week, because now we have been in Boise for a week but you get the picture. Well we are officially done with our 6 week rotation in Orofino Idaho. Our last week there was a long one. I think we were all tired of the hotel, but we did a few last hikes that we'd been wanting to do. Thomas walked by himself for a mile. We were pretty proud because it was pretty hilly, and bumpy. I was so scared he was going to trip and roll over the edge. All the little plants on the trail went up to his waist, but he didn't mind swinging his stick at them. I know I could never live there, but it sure was BEAUTIFUL! Only 4 more weeks of traveling.

We also went bowling, and I will tell you that the Wii did not give me realistic expectations of my skill level. Nolan and I played 2 games, and if you can't see in the picture, I scored a 90, so much worse than my 253 game on the wii. But it was a fun time. Thomas really had fun, and grace just sat in her stroller watching us.

WOW, six weeks, you go girl! We were stuck in a hotel for a few days before we got into our place for Cliff's job this summer and I thought I was going to go nuts. It's different when it's not vacation, ya know? But perhaps yours was more like a vay-cay.

Look at Grace's little teeth!! SOOOO CUTE!!

I love that first picture of Grace in the trees! Looks pretty there, but glad you can be home now. What a good idea to go bowling with the fam. Kaleb would love it. p.s. i suck at real bowling too. Sad. I guess we're related after all!

haha, at least you scored a 90. I thought I was getting pretty good at bowling because of the wii and then we went and I scored like a 65! Horrible! Love the first picture of Grace, so cute.

Looks like fun. Wii bowling is my forte too. We just went bowling today and I got a 75 (and we had the gutters up!). Haha! I stink at that. Grace looks too cute in that top pick. I'm impress Thomas walked a whole mile. What a good boy!

Love your bangs Ash. I'm so glad that your traveling is almost over. I bet you're ready for some steady home life. You're sure a trooper. Nolan's lucky to have you.

Horray - only 4 more weeks til you're home! I seriously don't know how you do it with 2 little ones...are they both really good in their carseats? I'm very impressed!

First of all I absolutely love that pic of Grace...she got some teeth since I last saw you! Glad you got out and hiked around Orofino; although the town itself leaves a bit to be desired the surrounding area truly is amazing. As much as we are enjoying Twin Falls it just doesn't compare to the beauty of Norther Idaho. So where is the traveling family off to now?

Wow a lot has happened, sorry Grace burned her fingers. Hopefully they will heal quickly. WOw and the townhouse, you guys have had some crazy-ness lately. Hope things get back to normal soon. Glad you are enjoying traveling!

If you thought this was good try one of these...
