We're Alive

Lots to blog about, not much time. This could be a record for how long it's been since my last post, so I thought I would write up a little something, hopefully I will get back on top of things soon! In the meantime, here's what we've been up to...

The good...
Spending time with family
My little sisters graduation
Done some swimming and hiking

The bad...
Grace got second degree burns on her left fingers!
Our town home flooded in Logan.
Nolan is in Chicago

Okay, you can't just tell us all that major bad new and then not explain it. I hope little Grace is okay. Do you have any silvadine? (Sp??) It is AMAZING stuff. Flooding, why? How? who's taking care of it? Scary. I hope you are okay. Love ya!

oh no! the bad news really blew the good news out of the water!! I hope today was better, and what you really need to do is put the kids to bed, grab a pint (of creamy ice cream), and go soak in a bubble bath!!

Oh no, how did sweet little Grace get burned? Hope you start having more good news opposed to the bad.
Also, I'm very happy for your sister. What wonderful news for her and your family. I can undersand how desperate you begin to feel when you can't get pregnant when you so badly want to. Although not to her extreme, but after I miscarried our first baby and then couldn't get pregnant for several months after, the thoughts do begin to race through your mind, ya know, the "what if's?"

I'm so sorry about Graces burn and about your basement! Sometimes life goes like that and we just have to hang on to the end of our rope and know it will get better! Hang on! You are a very strong person and I admire how well you handle the difficult times!

oh ashley! We need to catch up! I'm sorry about your townhome. Ashley MacNair called and told me that our renters and Tim were dumping the water out of our wells. It was crazy rain! I'm sorry though and I hope things start looking up! We miss you!

I hope that everything worked out with your townhome! It was seriously the craziest night- we were all out bailing water out of window wells- CRAZY! You would have been amazed at the amount of people out helping everyone that needed it!
