A year ago I was in the hospital awaiting my induction and typing my welcome baby #2 post. The excitement and anxious feelings are not the same as I type this post this morning on my couch while both kids are still asleep. I really love the first birthday. It is so amazing to think of how much has happened in a year and how quickly the newborn baby changes to a toddler. When Thomas turned one I was just excited and looking forward to birthday #2. 
But now I wish it hadn't come so soon. Grace was such a good baby I wish I could keep her that way forever. I am so grateful we were blessed with Grace in our lives. I don't feel like I could get any happier when I see her accomplish things, or laugh, or play with Thomas. This year has been so great with her. Aside from the burn on her finger she has never had to go to the doctor. 
She hardly cries and she lights up when she sees me, Nolan, or Thomas. I will post birthday pictures tomorrow, for today, I just want to wish her a happy birthday! Love you baby girl!

Happy Birthday, Grace! There is nothing like a first birthday. Excitement for how big they are getting, but also a little bit sad to say goodbye baby and hello toddler!

Those are great pictures! I can't believe it's been a year already. It seems like yesterday I was reading your post about Grace and thinking maybe I'd have a second kid soon....how time flies : ) What a cute party and great cakes. If only we could all be as talented as you!
