Cha-Cha-Changes!

The weather may be changing, but we went boating last weekend. A friend of ours called and invited us to go boating with them for the last of the season. We were both a little nervous about the weather cooperating since it is OCTOBER, but it was so much fun. Luckily we had wet suits on and the water really, and I'm not just saying this to be tough, was perfect! Our friend is impressive with her skills!Nolan did a great job too. I really like this picture of him, he looks like he's riding a bull. He's also really getting the hang of slaloming.
I'm a proficient wake crosser now,but have to figure out to avoid the face first wipeouts. YOUCH! Both Nolan and I realized how out of shape we are because it took us a bit to recover from the soreness. We were able to go to the temple too so that was really nice. We hung out with some friends, and did a little shopping. Nolan had yesterday off and he's working on a couple projects for Christmas.

I have been scrap booking A LOT! I am so excited to almost be caught up. The hardest part is that I go through all my blog posts, and copy and pasted them into word, then edit and put them on corresponding pages. It takes me a lot time, but it feels like I'm pretty much publishing my blog, so I like that. I also harnessed some creative power and made these, thanks for the idea Brittany.
Thomas is riding his bike. He's been doing it for a while but we would have to bribe him with candy and all of the sudden he's wanting to go on long bike rides around the neighborhood. It's so exciting!

Grace is "potty training". I hesitate to say she's trained or to report it because maybe we're just having a good week, but we started last Wednesday and she's been doing awesome. Night time and naps is still diapers, but she sleeps 13 1/2 hours at night, I don't expect her to hold it that long. Girls are much nicer to train than boys. I love not worrying about getting peed on, or the toilet seat getting it. She was definitely more stubborn about going the first couple days than I remember Thomas being though:-)
These kids are growing up on me!

Great job, Ash! Love those boo blocks. :) I'll have to make some sometime. I'm so jealous about the potty training. I wish I had the desire to start with Jason but he just doesn't seem to care AT ALL...so I feel like it's too soon to try...

I haven't been wake boarding in forever - looks like fun! I'm very impressed you blog and scrapbook...I sometimes think about starting scrapbooks for the kids but then get discouraged at far behind I'd be already. That's awesome Grace is, it sounds like, potty trained!

I love the Boo blocks! I might have to copy them! I can't believe with two kids you are able to keep up with the scrapbooks, impressive! I really wish we lived closer so we could craft together like our moms used to do. So when are you moving back home? HAHA!

Jealous about your scrapbooking - good for you. Nice boating skills. I'm impressed that Thomas wants to ride his bike so far. Ellie is still quite timid on her bike. Good job on the potty training.

I will have to remember that you guys are willing to go out in the cold next time I want to go in May! Looks like a Malibu Wakesetter from what I could see of the boat. Looks like fun!(The face planting is a Blodgett thing, just ask Raebabe)

So, I thought when I read the title of your post that you were moving again, or maybe coming to Phoenix. Sad. You Blodgett girls seem to good at whatever you tackle. Great pictures.

If you thought this was good try one of these...
