The kids picked out their design and they just happened to be too hard for them to do so Nolan and I did most of it, but they loved getting them all lit up at home, and played outside with them for awhile.
A couple days later we went to a big party. It was unlike any party I had been before full of amazing decorations, and delicious food. I was totally impressed and intimidated because I could never compete with that! We all dressed up for it.
Grace and Emma were butterflies,
Thomas a pirate,
and Nolan and I Chubacka and Princess Lei... Nolan even had the sound effects down. We borrowed our costumes, I've actually only seen one star wars movie. I was just happy the costume fit my 35 week belly!
Thomas and Grace also were dressing up for school, and Grace decided she didn't want to be a butterfly, but a spider instead that we borrowed from our cousins. I loved this costume, and am glad she wore it.
Thomas was a builder for his future career day that week.
And of course we can't leave Emma out if we're all dressing up. She wanted to wear this shark costume all day every day.
Here's the result of their haul. They both really enjoyed trick or treating and could go forever. I have a fun time running from house to house with them, but was tired by the end. I'm glad it turned out to be a fairly nice evening so they could just wear their costumes without any coats.
The elementary school also had a really fun flash mob dance. Front and center you can see Emma walking around, she loved all the dancing. Four kids in from the right you can see Grace.
And there is Thomas two kids in from the right. He really got into it, and came home doing it. I wish I could get the video downloaded, it was pretty cool song/dance, and made me proud of good old Raft River Elementary!

I was pretty surprised to see you in a Princess Leia costume haha. Looks like a lot of cute and fun costumes. Did you help the kids organize their candy this year? :)
