I was grateful I could see both of my sisters and my dad for a weekend in Boise.
My dad is doing so well, and I'm so proud of him and how he has handled
his recent health scare. He's a great example of good health and
exercise!
I wish we could have done more for her, than just put her through the spanking machine. She does so much for us and everyone around her, we can't begin to thank her.
I was then thankful that we could celebrate another very important person in my life for Nolan's 32nd birthday. We celebrated early and then he and I left the kids with his parents and went to park city for a few days. It was fun being just the two of us and getting to spoil each other with attention that the kids usually demand. We mostly shopped tile and granite stores, but we have some fun memories from that weekend together. I am confirmed over and over that Nolan is the perfect guy for me. The things that he contributes to our family I know I wouldn't be doing. We balance each other very well. His dedication to family, the church, and the farm are unmatched. He has such an amazing work ethic. He beats himself up when he accomplishes in one day what a normal person does in a week. Just the other day we were with a few couples, and I started listing off the things he had been doing around the house, or with the kids and all the husbands were like, "stop! You're making us look bad." The wives were all impressed, and what can I say I feel so blessed to have snagged him.
I'm grateful that we had the rest of the month to be grateful for our blessings. All 3 kids have become such good playmates, and I've been so grateful to see their friendships take shape. At the end of November, we had a Thanksgiving feast with my dad, my brother and his family at our house. We had a really fun weekend with such delicious food. Even this french toast that was the thickness of 3 slices of bread...

The kids played nonstop together, and my brother and I had a few good ping pong matches. We taught them how to play Alhambra, and went to the movies and saw Monsters U. The best news was when they announced they were expecting a baby this July. This makes 5 new Blodgett grand-babies in close to a years time. Can't wait for them to all be best buds!
If I'm listing things I'm grateful for I can't leave off the gospel and the guiding light it provides for me and my family in our lives. It allows for such focus in my life which I'm truly grateful for when things seem so out of control around me sometimes. Now we enter December where Christmas brings such a special spirit in so many's lives. And we are anticipating a new baby in our family and that feeling is unmatched. Lots to be grateful for and look forward to.

What a beautiful post! It is true, we are 'seriously so blessed'. I love what you said about Nono. He is such a great guy, and a perfect fit to our family.
