We have been having such a good last couple weeks. I don't know if it is the good weather or Emma no longer battling ear infections, but we have been in a good mood around here, and I'm hoping it sticks.
One good thing happened a couple weeks ago, the birth of our newest cousin. Blair Harper. We went to Logan for a quick trip to meet her and it was so sweet. Oh that new baby feeling. Nothing beats it. I can't believe James is double her size. Didn't I just have a newborn 4 months ago? What happened?
I love this picture because Blair and James are facing the same way and their arms are the same too.
Here's cousin Parker with James. He's pretty sweet with him. Cousins are the best!
And so are big brothers. James loves hearing Thomas read, or sing to him. As a family we are currently 2/3 of the way through the first harry potter.
I have been letting Grace and Thomas watch the movie in increments after we read those parts. It's been a pretty magical thing. I love seeing the story come to life for them. I hear them playing "Harry Potter" in the basement. Oh I love that book!
Handsome Fellas!
Then last Sunday we had a great Easter Sunday. Thomas woke up at 6:30 and in return we were all up by 7. We had a close call as we were searching for eggs and baskets. I turned the oven on to cook breakfast, and after 3 minutes or preheating realized there was a basket in there. Thankfully I turned it of in time! This is the first year the girls have gotten matching anything, and I loved it.
James was tuckered out after a day of church. Hopefully next year we'll get one of the boys together.
We spent the day with cousins, I'll have to try and get the pictures from them. They hid a ton of eggs and searched for them, and afterwards we went up in the mountains and rolled them, and boulders down the side of it.
A great time was had by all. I'm always so glad to really focus on the Resurrection, and how much the Savior has affected and influenced my life. I am grateful for his example and constant companionship. Easter always helps me with a new resolution to do better, and Come Closer to Christ.

Cute Kiddos! Whoops, on almost burning up the Easter basket, I guess the Easter bunny forgot to tell you where he placed them ;)!!! So funny!
these pictures made me happy too! james is getting so big, and looks like a strong little guy. I am pretty surprised that this is the first time you have done matchy for your girls... I was doing that (with your help) before Katie Ann was even before. Then again, I have problems.
So fun to read about your family and so glad everyone is in good moods - I love when that happens ;) I am totally going to start reading Harry Potter to our older kids next! We're reading the Narnia series right now and I love how much they love it... I also like the idea of watching the movies in segments. And I have to tell you, I loved your comment on my blog about our sleep fighter kids - I get convinced it's got to be something Brandon and I are doing wrong... I'm glad we're not the only ones with babies who don't sleep. But so exciting that Emma is sleeping better for you now, glad her surgery went well!!
Okay, so maybe I'll have to break down and read Harry Potter. :) I'm glad you all love it so much! Love the matching outfits!
Jason and I laughed hard at the Easter basket. Would've been better for us in the story though if a fire extinguisher had to be involved or maybe just some major chocolate melting cleanup. I mean really Ash... Next time when you save your house from a firey blaze, remember how selfish you are being to those around you...
