Miracles Happen Everyday!

For those of you who know me well you know that my sisters and I are TIGHT! I mean super tight. So this weekend I want to talk a little about them. I have paid tribute to my older sister once and you can read about it here.
For a very long time she has been going through a trial I never thought would affect our family. She and her husband Paul have been trying to have a baby with no success. I have been so impressed by her constant effort and her hope and faith. As a social worker who helps families who may lose their children and also she works at LDS adoption agency with birth moms who weren't exactly wanting to get pregnant it seemed she was constantly reminded that having children comes to many so easily. Around the time I had Grace she had a miscarriage. It is always difficult to watch ones you love go through something that you can't fix and you don't understand yourself. I have tried to be there for her the best I could, but knew I could never totally fill the void she had in her life. Well after many months of waiting and thinking it might happen it finally has and she is having a baby in November. You can click over to her blog here to read the good news. It's been a great reminder to me of having faith and hope through tribulations and that Heavenly Father is always with us. I know she will be a wonderful mom, all the Grand kids adore her. I am so excited for her, so add her blog to your Google Reader, so you can be excited too! Haha!

Yeah for RaeAnn. I think we met only once, but having gone through similar challenges I have thought of her often. So, RaeAnn I know you are probably reading all of these comments, congratulations! I wish you the best on a healthy pregnancy. Enjoy every minute of it -- I am sure you will...every thing seems to be a little more precious when you've waited a long time and fought for it.

I have a very good friend who has had the same struggles. She miscarried right before I had Brooklyn and another a few months ago. I keep telling her it will happen. I will share this great news with her. Congratulations to your sister and to you, you're going to be an auntie!

Congratulations to your sis! I am way excited for her (even though I don't know her). Having dealt (and still dealing) with infertility I can totally relate with how difficult it is to have such a righteous desire and yet have to wait and wait and wait...but I will say that the wait is worth it. I wish her the best and hope you keep us posted (I guess I can always sneak a peak on her blog as well :).

If you thought this was good try one of these...
